Although it was her biggest USA & Global Hit, Yvonne Elliman didn't like 'If I Can't Have You'. In a 1978 interview, she
referred to it as: 'That current thing off 'Saturday Night Fever'. She preferred to sing slow ballads - such as her 1976
Hit 'Love Me', which was also written by Barry & Robin Gibb, & was on the Bee Gees 1976 'Children Of The World' Album.
Yvonne was going to record 'How Deep Is Your Love' for 'Saturday Night Fever', but it was decided that she'd record
'If I Can't Have You', instead. The Bee Gees offered the Song to ABBA, but they turned it down, as they preferred to
record their own songs. (Apart from 'Medley', which was the edited parts of 3 'Old Traditional Songs', from the USA.
ABBA recorded 'Medley' for a 1975 German Charity Album. It was later used it as the 'B' Side of 'Summer Night City',
in 1978, in a slightly different 'Mix').

That would have been sooooo great! Sadly it never happened.
