Depends on the market to be honest.
We have to keep in mind that for KMO, she was playing arenas and much more countries.
I think Golden Tour did better in UK/Australia, but KMO was bigger in Europe.
We can blame the non existent promo for this era on the continent.
    5.05.2009 / 6.22.2011 / 4.24.2013 / 4.25.2013 / 3.1.2014 / 9.13.2014 / 7.21.2016 / 7.14.2018 / 7.15.2018

As Key pointed out - depends on the market. They have gone a VERY different campaign then what KMO had, and have focused on very particular areas only (for better pay of).

Here is a few examples though:

    KMO Tour Golden Tour Sway
    London 29,015 / 39,193 (74% Sold Out) $2,745,410 London 30,100 / 43,277 (69% Sold Out) $3,368,900 Golden (Both attendance and gross)
    Glasgow 11,508 / 11,609 (99% Sold Out) $908,423 11,206 / 11,443 (98% Sold Out) $1,041,470 Golden (while more attendance to KMO - Golden out grossed)
    Sydney 9,129 / 9,735 (94% Sold Out) $1,035,330 12,659 / 12,996 (98% Sold Out) $1,401,030 Golden (Both attendance and gross)

    Overview of 'reported' shows:

    KMO Total: 114,023 / 133,124 (86% Sold Out) $10,396,146
    Golden Tour: 129,805 / 165,059 (79% Sold Out) $12,584,466

Obviously there is a lot of data missing for both tours - so it's hard to compare. I would say Golden is doing better then KMO Tour as it currently stands.

Around 500 copies in Australia. The album should be around 21/22k there.

Dancing was certified Gold in Australia back in November '18. I believe I made a post about it then.
Nice to see the album reenter the charts this week!

Thanks for the additional comparisons Instinct.

    Album: Golden

    iTunes:
    #33 Australia

    Apple Music:
    #46 Australia

I'm glad to see that Golden made it back to Top50 on a streaming service (even if it is the smaller of the two). I'm been really bad at predicting chart placements - but I'm hoping it can maybe make 1 more week in the Aus Top 50.

So now another wait for 2-3 months until the Summer Festival Shows and Glastonbury which I'm sure will bring about a mini revival of Golden.

I'm disappointed in Golden's performance in Australia. They should've promoted it there.

^ Yeah, they should have. They didn't even discount it throughout the whole time Kylie was in Australia.

Anyway, last chart position I think we will get for Aus:

    193 (68) - Golden Kylie Minogue

At least we get to look forward to the summer shows and potential activity again in Euro/UK.

Fantastic Australian Boxscore! Thank you so much for posting @matheusbelmont really appreciate it!

I think we are safe to say that the tour would have grossed 20 million + all together?

Thank you so much Belmont! I actually believe that the total reported gross should be $17,061,280 since the Italian date only grossed $122,137 according to Pollstar instead of $138,412 which was added to Wikipedia from an unknown source.
