    70's
1 Fleetwood Mac - The Chain
2 Electric Light Orchestra - Mr. Blue Sky
3 Tina Turner - Proud Mary
    4 AC/DC Highway to Hell
5 Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline
6 John Denver - Take Me Home, Country Roads
    7 Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
    8 Queen - Don't Stop Me Now
    9 Dolly Parton - Jolene
    10 Eagles - Hotel California

    60's
    1 Ken Dodd - Happiness
2 The Velvet Underground - Pale Blue Eyes
3 The Rolling Stones Paint It Black
4 Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell - Ain't No Mountain High Enough
5 Simon & Garfunkel - The Sounds of Silence
6 Louis Armstrong - What a Wonderful World
    7 The Beatles - Blackbird
8 The Beatles - Here Comes the Sun
9 Dusty Springfield - Son of a Preacher Man
    10 Simon & Garfunkel - Mrs. Robinson

If someone wants to do the 80's you just have to go to the Live Pop Bars site and fetch up the 1500 and extract the records from that. I reckon you could do the top 40 for both the 80's and 70's. But the 60's is a struggle. The last 60's at 10 was about 990!

Thank you Graham, I really like your lists!
It's curious to see which songs are the most popular. I mean... Mr. Blue Sky? I really can't imagine why.

Is there a reason why the decades are not in order?

Surprising drop for Rubberband Man. The Queen biopic trailer could push Queen tracks next week too.
