Does anyone have opening sales for Honeymoon and Lust for Life in the UK? I’m sure they weren’t as high as NFR

    Honeymoon - 28k
    Lust For Life - 25k

'Norman Fucking Rockwell' should be able to debut with similar numbers. Im curious about the German opening since she's experienced quite heavy drops from album to album there (~ 100k - ~ 30k - ~ 18k - ~ 10k).

I can see this album having legs, seems like mouth to mouth marketing will keep the album going.

@Hejira: What do you expect to be different this time around - compared to the previous two eras?

Fantastic midweek figure in the UK!

She's getting amazing reviews for this album. Currently at 86 on Metacritic for example, which is huge for a release by a mainstream artist. This can help, but I'm not sure if it will.

The music is enormously well received both critically and publicly and there's also something else I can't quite explain, but I think the message will spread over the next few weeks/months for sure.

Its still shocking that she doesn't do any Promo her album could open quite a bit higher if she did something..

She did/does a lot of old school promo, much more than her previous era. Lot's of radio interviews and 3 high-profile (read, not shot with an iphone) videos. That's a lot for her.

To have longevity, she needs a hit but she's not that type of artist and streaming won't help her cause sadly. Still, great numbers.

She added signed copies that can only be delivered to UK from her official site. I'm pissed because the price is the same as the regular copies but it can only be delivered to UK address. Obviously they are trying to get every boost they can in the UK.

I really wanted one. There are so many cool versions with all the colored vinyls yet the only one I could find here was the regular 12".
    I want the blue version!

You need to check indie store sites for that. It's their exclusive, her site only has lime green version. I'm fond of Picadilly Records so here's a link to their site if you want to buy it: https://www.piccadillyrecords.com/co...php?pid=130626

Yes, seems like this will be stronger on streaming than her previous albums which will give it longevity hopefully She's really making a nice transition to streaming and with 0 effort.
