"hopeless fountain kingdom" was THE album of 2017 for me, so i'm freaking excited for this. A shame she didn't push more singles, like the brilliant "Heaven In Hiding" or finally giving a proper push to the flawless "Strangers", but i'm so here for new music.

And please, let her finally tour in Europe (not UK).

This is quite commercial for her, but i already had it on heavy rotation on my way to work today. Love it! "hopeless fountain kingdom" still had a lot to offer so i'm surprised she's throwing in a stand alone single, but i still hope it does well. Apart from "Bad At Love", the hfk era wasn't as exciting as i was hoping for, sadly.

It’s odd how this is Halsey’s first solo single to start breaking through in Europe. Eastside must have sold her as an artist in a way Closer couldn’t.

She’s been kind of a reverse Zara Larsson with her America-centric success so far.

She currently has two songs within the Billboard Hot 100 top 20, this and Eastside.

The chorus is killer, it's no Bad at Love but that would be hard to achieve.
