British made BBC America drama based on the book Codename Villanelle and adapted for TV by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, this is easily one of the best series of the year - a brilliantly bonkers and chilling performance by Jodie Comer alongside the fantastic Sandra Oh. It’s a constant game of cat and mouse and hits the dark comedy spot perfectly throughout, while becoming increasingly tense.

I’ve binge watched the eight episodes across the weekend and am so glad there’s a second season coming next year!

Binged this over Christmas and it was brilliant. Sandra is such a great actress in this!

Detective comedy drama. It’s the Ugly Betty type of humour imo.

Series 2 is even crazier than the first - despite Phoebe stepping down as showrunner and Emerald Fennell (from Call The Midwife!) taking over.

BBC really shooting themselves in the feet refusing to air it until the US run ends yet hyping it up like mad - even having Daniel Radcliffe on The Graham Norton Show telling people to look online for streams on the same programme that made it clear KE is airing in America. Then BAFTA bends their rules to include it in noms despite it being technically a US show. Good thing mind, cause Jodie never got a win and was largely ignored by American ceremonies. Insane!

The show is not intended to be binged, hence the lengthy (and annoying) "next time" montages at the end. True fans aren't waiting.

Great to see it win three BAFTAs and Jodie Comer’s reaction was cute!

Didn’t know it was already airing in the US but I might wait till next month anyway.

Loved Season 2, maybe just as much as the first season. I don't want to have to wait for S3!!

That “murder on the dancefloor” joke

Also leaving the apple as a calling card for Eve, genius.

Trust Villanelle to end up seeking solace with a weirdo like Julian. The toilet brush was nice touch

I also love how she dresses for every occasion.

Great series finale, I loved Raymond and Villanelle’s confrontation; “I bet your children are ugly”

Silly him leaving that axe unattended! “The shoulder?!”

Poor Hugo, Eve seduces him of a night and not leaves him to bleed on a hotel floor of a morning!

Series 3 has been confirmed! Their relationship is so fascinating I hope it’s not the end of that.
