    Donna Summer - Last Dance



    As you've probably gathered, I'm in a Donna Summer mood tonight - what an amazing artist. Last Dance is another of my favourites, an Oscar and Golden Globe winning song and arguably one of her signature hits.

    It was a year or so before she died, she was 62 at that point - what a voice she still had.

      It takes a while to get going, but it’s one of her best. Structurally it always reminds me of the superior ‘No More Tears’.
      I don't need no good advice, I'm already wasted​.

              Her second-best for me after Bad Girls, this is a joyful disco delight.

                  Iconic, but not one of my faves. She has at least 20 better songs.

                          I think this is her best song. The intro gives me so much oxygen.
