I survived 3 spins and was pleasantly surprised. Its pretty cohesive and there are a couple of lovely ideas. Good Guy is my current fave because of the Cher sample. Its quite a long album though and everything kind of blends together halfway through.

This album is good! I still think it will be a hit on streaming at least.

Yeah I think he is over.

Also, is there a reason this is in pop? Isn't this album like 90% R&B?

^Tbh I think the album contains both genres (Pop & R&B) pretty equally. It's actually Poppier compared to his debut, but that's just me.

Not massively impressed with the album after first listen. Its too long and not as good as his debut, lots of filler. Shame how badly this has done though - Zayn definitely has the best output of the 1D boys

Imagine the pressure now for Liam Payne! Though it's not hard to top the performance of this abysmal album, no one can say that the One Direction fans are still there to support the solo albums.

What pressure? His EP hardly did anything, so did most of his solo singles beside For You and Strip That Down, so i doubt anyone expects him to have a big selling album

^Exactly. Liam Payne is like, he's on Jason Derulo/Flo Rida-level of artistry. If they're doing good on the charts, good for them! If they don't, well it's okay cause nobody cares.

You guys are too harsh on him, I actually love the album and been playing it nonstop! It is kinda samey, but still very good until the interlude, then it becomes much more diverse. I love Natural, common, I don't mind, sour diesel, scripted, fresh air, entertainer, rainberry, fingers and too much. The only ones I don't like are if I got you and no candle no light

Obsessed with "There You Are" and "Common" at the moment!

THERE YOU AAAAARE THERE YOU AAAAAREEEEE

    My ideal tracklist:
    1. There You Are
    2. Let Me
    3. Fingers
    4. If I Got You
    5. Imprint
    6. Too Much (feat. Timbaland)
    7. Entertainer
    8. Rainberry
    9. Common
    10. Satisfaction
    11. Dusk Till Dawn
    12. I Don't Mind

If it's the official tracklist it would've been a very solid album!

No probs. That is actually my playlist right now, exactly in that order and it kinda works for me. Now the album actually sounds really good.

This is growing on me, although its definitely a step down from Mind of Mine. There You Are shouldve been the second single after Let Me

Urghh this album is so good (the 12-track playlist that I made, not the whole thing).

Well, Liam is the next one to release a solo album, even Niall who didn't have big singles went to #1 with his solo album. Obviously, Liam delayed everything and resorted to an EP because he wants to make it when he drops his own record.

Still no pressure on him then, ofcourse he wants to make it, but he can only do better than his last few releases

I always listen to this album’s songs on Spotify playlists. They sound so good. Zayn only needs exposure.

The problem with him isn't that he can't get exposure, the fact is he clearly doesn't want it. If he manages to deal with his anxiety issues, things might get better but until then nothing will help.

I actually like this album but it might have been better if he had released it in 2 separate occasions like Timberlake did for example - dumping 27 tracks all at once is just too much and the fact that he chose weaker songs as singles also doesn't help.
