Would Travis Scott be the worst UK #1 of all-time if it made it?

I think its very telling that the Ed Sheeran & Stormzy track is going to plummet now its on acr, whilst tracks by Kygo & Whitney and AJ Tracey aren't budging yet despite being in the charts longer.

Whilst i like Ed Sheeran, i really do think Take me back to London is such a non event #1 that people will look back on in years to come and wonder "how did that get to #1?". Sadly for us we know exactly how it got to #1.

Ironically the week Ed/Stormzy climbed 11-1 in the UK, Tones and I went 11-1 in Ireland. It's only taken 5 weeks for the UK to finally catch on.

Just saw this... and I agree. "Take Me Back To London" was also just a UK thing, it didn't happen at all in other countries.

Travis Scott has no chance of being #1 whilst Tones and I is on a gradual increase per week in popularity. It wouldn't surprise me if Dance monkey kept increasing its sales each week whilst its at #1.

I think @Thriller made a really valid point that people who still use iTunes are more likely to be people in their 30s so explains why the iTunes chart better represents my personal tastes compared to the nightmare that is the daily Spotify charts.

Apple downloads are staying, just won't be called iTunes. It's all Apple Music. This was confirmed months ago. Don't know if download charts will stay but presumably they'll still keep track. They keep track of video sales which must be so minute - maybe they'll dump the video sales chart and replace it with download sales.
