Not a bad thing, actually. I like it. She was better in her pop dance songs about 10 years ago, but this is one of the good ones, too.

This is on brand for Kelly as a fun get dem coins advertising tie-in profile-lifter.

It reminds me of the good ol' days when you couldn't move for her popping up on a dance track or rnb feature mixed in with her own output.

Kelly was classic buzz single material but that used to lead to more failed buzz singles and album pushbacks etc while they kept redeciding and redeciding the tone of the album.

The fact that she has thrown out a light poppy advertising campaign track gives me hope that music plans are still afoot for a proper album campaign. She needs some multi-platform profile-lifting and this fits the bill, however small its reach will be.

Viral dance videos to Kelly did their thing and this is here to do its thing.
