I think so. The server crash is usually 10am for me.
I might start scheduling brunch at that time.
It seems to hit about 6PM for me. So it's my cue to make dinner...

Is this something we will have to get used to forever?
Yeah it was roughly forty minutes today.
I’m not accusing anyone of lying but the report I got today from UpTime Robot stated the site was down for just 16 minutes between 01:09-1:25...![]()
This is getting really annoying.
Can we move it to 14:00 Japan time? Which would be 2am in South America, and 5am GMT.
That's the way it was yesterday as well. The posts stopped about fifteen minutes before the hour.
What's the reason for this being mandatory for the new forum? The old one didn't have regular downtime, right?
The old one didn't have scheduled downtime.
The purpose for this is that the hosts have added a backup script (a backup of the site will automatically be taken at 5am every morning) - due to the size of the database, there is more than likely going to be some downtime (generally in the region of 20-25 minutes according to the reports I've reviewed).

I feel bad for biscuits. Seems like he's taking it the hardest.
