    Your sources for music info?

Ok, so besides our sis UKMix, what other channels do you use to gather info on music?
Any other websites, or social media accounts that you find as a good and reliable source for music news and gossip?

Best on the internet for exclusives, breaking news and coverage of various genres. The only one I use.

      Spotify to see what's new.

Wikipedia if I want to know something.

Billboard for music news. And UK charts.

I don't have any constant good source for modern music.
For retro years they are : official charts, 45cat, Discogs, Wikipedia, Youtube, national pre-selections for Eurovision.
In my head I like to imagine LastDreamer in the land of Lithuania right now with a suitcase of simcards, a box of chocolates and a wedding ring. It would be a great base for an epic Eurovision fan fiction.

As for me, one of the biggest resources is Youtube and Soundcloud. Also for plagiarism checker Edu Birdy of course. And I have not to mention groups in social media. At least you can tap your request in Google and find the answer.

Other than UKMIX, Pandora streaming. Online music subscriptions services: Pitchfork, Paste, Feedspot, NPR, AllMusic, Bandcamp. Do searches on Music Map. It's fun, too; almost like a game. Link's below post. Discogs. Youtube. To learn of new releases from artists I enjoy, I'll look to see if they have their own website & join up there for notifications. I know of rateyourmusic in addition to last.fm for anyone who's interested; though, I can't say I use either as my own sources.
Music-Map is the similar music finder that helps you find similar bands and artists to the ones you love.

Exploring music is a fascinating journey, and having a wide range of sources, from forums like UKMix to reputable sites like Pitchfork, ensures a comprehensive perspective. It's like having a narrative essay helper, guiding me through the diverse and dynamic world of music with varied insights and opinions.
