Adele will, but even Swift can't get close now. Nothing on Reputation (after subtracted for CMA) got over 900 k (Look 865 k?). Swift should still get 1 more 500 k, but she needs to find that song soon.

Yeah. BUT, Tennessee Whiskey has been out for 190 wks, so closing in on 4 yrs of release. OTR can't catch up now, and 1.381 MM in just 27 wks is beyond INCREDIBLE in today's sales climate. But OTR will get past 1.5 MM. Short of Adele, no newer song will even reach 1 MM.

[QUOTE=oldbloke;7140849]ON DEMAND AUDIO STREAMS WEEK 35

Rank - Estimated Streams - TITLE - Artist
01 - 850,600,000 - OLD TOWN ROAD - Lil Nas X feat. Billy Ray Cyrus
    02 - 610,200,000 - SUNFLOWER - Post Malone & Swae Lee
    03 - 516,400,000 - WOW - Post Malone
    04 - 503,000,000 - 7 RINGS - Ariana Grande
    05 - 482,000,000 - MIDDLE CHILD - J.Cole

Old Bloke, you do so much already. But, do you also have the 2019 Chart Year to date Sales & ODS? I want to know how many sales and streams SF had in late November -- December 2018. OTR's lead looks so insurmountable, but I would like to know how much closer the data from the first few 2019 CY brings SF closer to OTR.

I don't have the charts, but Sunflower's streams in the first 8 weeks of the Billboard chart year were an estimated 123m. The song also had 3 weeks on the 2018 Billboard year with 44m streams.
Digital sales for the first 8 weeks of the Billboard chart year were an estimated 170,000.

Just curious - was this purely your decision or is this how the official SPS totals will be reported at the end of the year? It seems strange that you can tack a soundtrack song onto your album and then have it count towards the album's total. For example, if Taylor had decided to stick "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" onto reputation, would it have counted towards rep's SPS total and certification eligibility?

I believe it's the way it works. Below is what HITS wrote the week of Post Malone's album release. The 1.7m will include SEA/TEA from 2018.

    NEW RELEASE:HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD'S BLEEDING

Post Malone’s third album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, will debut at #1 and become the second-biggest opening thus far in 2019. The inclusion of smashes "Sunflower" and "Wow." will propel the total activity for the album to about 1.7 million after its first full week. Post helps Republic claim the Top 4 debuts YTD, along with Taylor Swift

    Here’s how it looks today.

Post Malone (Republic) 450-500k total activity, 190-215k album.

No - they're SPS as counted towards the weekly BB200, so only include audio streams - RIAA certifications include video streams.

The Billboard year-end chart only includes SPS an album has gotten while on the Billboard 200, so any pre-release SPS is not included in Billboard's charts. That's why Post Malone has less than 0.5 million on the Billboard chart but over 1.5 million on the SPS chart.
