Growing up I loved Cardcaptor Sakura - was always on ITV after school.

I love Spirited Away, Laputa Castle In The Sky and Grave Of The Fireflies. Studio Ghibli make such incredible and touching films.
Leave the grouch out of it - just listen to music like normal people and then you might appreciate/ enjoy it

I heard SO MUCH about Spirited Away and when I finally watched it I felt it was kinda boring. I LOVED Laputa though and Howl's Moving Castle was great. I definitely should watch more Studio Ghibli

On the subject of Studio Ghibli - does anybody know if there’s somewhere to watch their films without having to wait for VERY rare TV plays, nothing on Netflix etc. sadly. If anybody knows, that would be fantastic!

I can understand that, the hype around Spirited Away was/ still is incredibly intense. Laputa is by far my favourite! I forgot about Howl’s Moving Castle, that was a very interesting film, will have to revisit it when I can.
