He was my most played male artist back in 2012 and I really did dig "Echoes".
Listening to "Lexicon" all day long made me realise how much I actually missed Will's voice and music!

    My favourite songs so far:
    - All The Songs
    - Ground Running
    - Dreaming Big
    - Say Anything
    Mainshow Goes Diva: Kylie Minogue

Ok I have streamed the full album once and I absolutely love it!
As a whole I loved listening to the whole thing. Seems like there is not song I disliked.
will be streaming this a lot!! And then I need to check out Echoes, which I have never heard.

    Echoes is brilliant.

Lexicon is amazing. Will really delivered and i agree that this is his most solid body of work since Echoes.

I'm also enjoying every track in its own distinctive way. <3

The opening 2 and closing 2 tracks are stellar, as are Ground Running and Forever. On first listen it's more ballad heavy than I expected, but I don't love any of them apart from Dreaming Big. I think it just needs more listens!

Also lol @ when people say it's his "best work since Echoes"; he's only had one album since then so basically it's better than his last album.

    Touché

Will set the benchmark high with Friday's child yet he's successfully continued to deliver some amazing songs from each album. In this case i already have early favourites but even the tracks i'm listening to the least are still good.

To be fair, he has released EP's and stand-alone tracks as well.

Seeing "Lexicon" being #1 on the mid-week chart is great! That's what he deserves! I hope it can stay there in the end!

After many more listens I’m loving this now; a great Echoes part 2.

Forever is the song I’m dying to hear in the club, it’s just epic! Also really loving Say Anything, Scars and Faithless Love

There are some great TUNES on this. The uptempos are to die for, and some of the ballads have great production value too.

By the way, I heard My Love at a bear club in Rome last night such a surprise

I have a bad feeling Lewis Capaldi will end up #1 thanks to the same 11k stream equivalent people who keep listening to his album every day, every week, ad nauseam.

Regardless, Lexicon is really tremendous and i've been going back and listening to the album quite a few times so far this week.

#2 is still a tremendous result for him regardless. I do hope he bags the number one though. I've always loved Will.
    thank u, next

All thanks to the genius better known as Spotify.

Still, i hope this doesn't put Will off continuing with making new music. I'm sure his upcoming tour will reap the rewards.

#2 is still excellent but oh well, "Lexcion" is a hell of an album and deserved to get that #1 position so badly!

If a #2 album is offputting than he is in the wrong business, it is an amazing accompishment

#2 sales are far from being good these days in the UK, #1 spot at least validates some kind of relevance.

Which is kinda ironic as Madonna was #2 last week selling more than what Lewis Capaldi sold this week to retain the #1 spot.

Validates for who though? Like okay it nice to say you have a #1 album, but if you are just in it for the #s or the sales numbers, you are in the wrong business in 2019. Streaming is where it is, and sadly to say both him and also the just mentioned Madonna are not the acts that get pushed to the target audience of those platforms.(but like JakeP mentioned Madonna still sold well last week) A top 3 album is still great, especially since his last project came out in like 2015? #2 is an amazing result, he easily could have debuted outside the top 10, especially for an album campagne on a independent label.

#1 validates the work for the pop artist, even if it's for a week it's still the best seller.

Madonna album didn't deserve top 100, let alone #2, what a cosmic trainwreck.
