I'm actually not really surprised at any of these. Like would I say for some that are #1? Probably not, but I'd have them high nonetheless.

A few surprises - wasn’t aware anyone was still listening to Miley in 2018 and surprised Toto’s Africa is the most streamed song pre 1995 (excluding the Xmas songs). They should exclude Xmas songs so we can see what else is popular from those years.

39 million streams of AIWFCIY is huge though. So we know how many UK 2018 sales that equates to?

I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Everywhere (Fleetwood Mac) are constantly in the top 200 so I imagine they'd figure quite highly.

It says a lot about the quality of these songs. I would like to see what songs from 2018 are still being played 20 years from now.....My guess is not many of them!

AIWFCIY being among the top 100 songs of the entire year is quite surprising but amazing evidence of the power of that song!

I am pleasantly surprised to see Mario and Kanye there for their respective years

^It is not surprising at all, how many times do people have to magnify All I Want for Christmas’ piwer? Its success is reiterated and renewed every December.

Can't Hold Us is a bit of a surprise, Considering it was a sleeper hit for about a year and a half after it was originally released and The Heist and its other singles blew up in early 2013 (at least here in Australia). It'd be interesting to see the other 2011 songs it was more streamed than.

Then again, similar for Mr Brightside, obviously massive song and was big in end of 2004/into 2005 here after Somebody Told Me IIRC), but looks like it was the first single from Hot Fuss (2004) and was actually originally released in late 2003.
