@Thriller forgot the password The introduction of Spotify embedding also made it the right time for a relaunch as well.

@Wayne Ill try and get as much dance music as possible in the upcoming playlist (which will be a little later since Im flying from London on Friday and wont get on my laptop til that night).

Loving OT Bop by NSG this week, not usually my sort of thing!

Great tracks from Ed Sheeran (surprisingly) and Becky Hill with Sigala too.

Despite there not being as many big names releasing this week I've managed to cobble together another 68 of the most interesting new releases, with a little help from some of the suggestions in this thread.

It's a little late due to me travelling this week, but still in time for you to get some new music over the weekend. There's big dance numbers from the likes of Sigala, Becky Hill, Chris Lake, Skream and Chase & Status, while innovative artists such as Flying Lotus and Steve Lacy feature after dropping new albums today.

Kim Petras features on the cover after dropping her fifth consecutive weekly track, with members such as @Blondini, @ludichris and @Thriller taking an interest in some of her recent releases. New music from Scandinavian artists Astrid S and Liss also represent the more pop side of things, while interesting material from KAYTRANADA-affiliate Shay Lia, Jordan Rakei and ex-Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke represent different shades of R&B influenced music.

There's plenty of rap and some alternative/rock in the latter half of the playlist, with tonnes of newer artists from all manners of genres scattered throughout it. I've even snuck a Yasmin feature in there too.

I hope you find some more good music in this week's playlist, which you should make sure to subscribe to along with UKMIX's Spotify account if you haven't already.

Being away last week got me way behind and by the time I got round to compiling a new playlist, it was basically the next Friday. So you'll be getting two playlists this week - the first of which is last week's in a separate playlist that will be deleted next week (don't worry, you'll still be able to hear the songs in the cumulative playlist).

There's tonnes of new material from big popstars; Katy Perry, ROSALA, Tove Lo, Mark Ronson/Camila Cabello and Miley Cyrus are all in there alongside newer names such as King Princess, Kim Petras, Sasha Sloan, Nasty Cherry, older names such as Craig David & Cheryl and features from Charli XCX, Justin Bieber, Bebe Rexha and Rita Ora.

Skepta is last week's big album with the release of his fifth LP Ignorance Is Bliss, which features alongside Cardi B, Freddie Gibbs, MoStack/Stormzy, Denzel Curry, GoldLink & more as a rap highlight of the week.

Miley Cyrus isn't the only person who released an EP, with London R&B artist Joy Crookes releasing her Perception EP last week. The rhythmic cut Hurt features in the playlist alongside a selection of more soulful tracks in the playlist.

Soul also features a lot in the dance music featured in the playlist, which also sees some grime influence and of course plenty of house. Genre lines blur further as alternative and pop intertwine towards the tail end of the playlist.

Hopefully you enjoy this belated playlist, and the new one which is currently being curated.

This track that was in the playlist a few weeks ago from UK artist L Devine has grown on me so much since it was released. It's got such a strong pop melody and the bassline is so good; perfect for summer.

Her interview with Gay Times is particularly interesting.

Obviously theres something in society thats told me that thats what I would be doing. Even when I was 14 and I thought, I really want to be a singer but what am I going to do about being a lesbian? I thought Id have to say I am bisexual so that I could still appeal to boys. Its just so weird that I would think that sex appeal would have to come into me making music. She stops. Now I realise that I should just be me and my sexuality is part of my story Im telling through my music.
