Even though I was disappointed in his last album I'm still excited for this. I think it's probably his make or break moment?

Tbh, "The Thrill Of It All" is way better than his debut and despite the underperformance, the album still sold well, in fact it's close towards 5M sps ww with its pure sales 1.9M WW and plus "Too Good At Goodbyes" being a smash

^ Well, most of its success came from the lead. I was actually more disappointed that once the album came out there wasn't something coming that really stood out and made an impact. I liked (and even loved) some songs but I thought the singles were poorly picked, but that's just my opinion.

100% agree on this, Palace should have been a single.

    Excited!

Except for Stay With Me, I wasn't really into his debut album.

But his second album has so many gems. It's one of my most played albums of the last few years.

Just think of the brilliance of:
    - Too Good At Goodbyes
    - Pray
    - HIM
    - Midnight Train
    - Burning
    - Nothing Left For You

Not releasing Midnight Train was a crime.

I'm really excited about this release! His latest album was a masterpiece and it turned me into a huge fan. I even attended his concert and I was blown away. He's so charming on stage. What a voice!

I agree with spiritboy, "Midnight Train" should have been a single, preferably the follow-up single to "Too Good At Goodbyes"!

Maybe I could like some of his songs if they were uptempo, because I loved his song with Calvin Harris so much. So hope he does something like that, if not, then I will hate his songs as usual I think.

It’s standalone, so I assume no

It wouldn't harm to include them on a Deluxe Edition of the album (same applies to "Promises" and "Fire On Fire", though)

The opposite for me. Really enjoyed the first album and didn’t even bother to buy the second one. The songs sounded so boring at times.

from the second album I really enjoyed Too Good at Goodbyes and Baby, You Make Me Crazy, the rest of the album didn't worked for me and I love him! I'm hoping he's taking the pop/dance direction!!! I'm excited for his project with Parris Goebel!!!

I kinda would love if this album serves a male version of Robyn's Body Talk. Good produced pop tracks, some experimental tracks with great replay value.

I am looking forward to a third album as long as he gives us more uptempos this era.
