    Anyway, completely off-topic.
Doesn't make sense to me either but unfortunately it is how it is. The current Billboard Hot 100 number one right now is only 2:37.

There's too much chart and business talk going on about this album, why aren't we talking about the actual music?
It's so boring when an album from a big artist "flops" and that's what the album and it's talking points become.

There's so much good music on this album not being discussed!
"Bigger" alone is worth a good conversation. The way the song builds to this epic climax, so well done.
"Otherside" such a gorgeous song with some very intricate and delicate moments and that stunning outro

Lol @ me noticing that the way Kendrick and Bey deliver « in the Nile » is made to sound like « in denial ». Genius.

    Same
I added GoldLink's Zulu Scream to my Gift Playlist and I don't regret it one second. Bey would approve (Same producer as Water,BSG,JAE and DJM) I hope she works with him again.

"My Power" should have been the lead single here. It's very empowering and it is reminiscent of "***Flawless".

"Spirit" and "Bigger" are so boring at first, she should have launched this era with a dance single.

"Brown Skin Girl" is nice but it is way too exclusive to be universally embraced.

"Find Your Way Back" is a gem.

"Mood 4 Eva" can stay in DJ Khaled's album.

Love the promo but Bey, it's "Mood 4 Eva" not "Mood Forever".

Brown Skin Girl doesn't have to be that 'exclusive', do you really think everybody is as narrowminded as you are?

Sadly there are definitely many people who are

I think we need to stop treating it like a real Beyonce studio album, because it's not. It's not the follow up to Lemonade. It's a compilation inspired by a film. It's a Various Artists album. It's no different than a soundtrack, so why stress about charts and streaming scores.

Besides the music is great and that's all that matters. It's not like she'll get dropped if it doesn't sell well!
    thank u, next

I think people (including me) are frustrated because the album is indeed good and they have the resources to make it huge, but don't put the effort.

Yeah, it's a weird way of thinking. Am I supposed to feel "left out" just because the songs isn't about me? By that logic there's a truckload of songs I shouldn't be listening to.

Exactly. I mean she has so many female empowerement songs but I always take the overall message of empowerement, fighting for equality etc. And it never bothers me.

beyonce can decide not to care about charts IF her music is even being heard in the first place.

It's not like she is flopping because people heard the music and hated it... more people do not know it exists
