The Lion King: The Gift is a promotional album for the 2019 Disney live-action remake of The Lion King. It was released on July 19 by Parkwood under exclusive license to Columbia. The album was produced and curated by Beyoncé and includes appearances from Jay-Z, Childish Gambino, Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Tierra Whack, 070 Shake, and Jessie Reyez, as well as African artists such as Shatta Wale, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Mr Eazi, among others.

It's also a soundtrack but more like Black Panther, she won't be on every track I think

I'm curious with how this will be credited by music charts. Black Panther was credited to Kendrick everywhere (UK, Germany, Australia, France, etc.), with the exception of the US and Canada. They'll probably do the same with Beyoncé.

Really bad performance so far, including iTunes and AppleMusic. Yes it hasn't everything working in its favour so far but her name alone should be worth more. See what happens on Friday if it gets any playlist placements, The Lion King Ost will be released as well (already 5pm CentralEuropeanTime today), potential video and of course the movie release.

New Playcount for Spirit yesterday: 716,818. At least an increase already, Could debut Top 200WW. Can You Feel The Love Tonight has 492,461 plays. Third place is Circle of Life with 341k plays.

The Soundtrack is not even listed on New Releases here in Germany... Spirit is on New Music Friday but only at #13. It's on the New Music Friday International (the biggest with 3m followers) at #6. Can You Feel The Tonight is also on there but further down (same for other Countries like AU,Canada etc. but also quite a few where it's not on it). The only real good placements for both can be found in the Asian Playlists, so they better come hard for her [MENTION=17768]abi[/MENTION] you better stream, so she will come with her next tour. I expect increases tomorrow for the tracks but probably not by much. The movie release will tell how this will turn out and I also expect it to be the only promo that they have, except maybe a music video.
