Maybe I'm not using the search function properly, but I'm shocked there's no topic for what is possibly the show of the summer right now. Zendaya leads this Sam Levinson created show based on an Israeli show of the same name. It deals with drugs, sexuality and violence in a high school, but thankfully it's more Skins UK than the terrible US remake.

I've just finished the fourth episode, which alongside the Big Little Lies finale is one of the best hours of TV I've seen recently. Zendaya (and most of the main cast tbf) is incredible, while the directing is beautiful in how it portrays issues with both brutal honesty and empathy.

Amazing show indeed. Zendaya is perfect in it and I like the way creators deal with all those crucial subjects. It's an art really.

Loved the show. The subject material has been mined to death, but this was the best adaption I've seen. Hopefully this gets picked up for a second season.

Obsessed with this! I like that it always starts with one character's backstory. Every single episode is visually appealing and the cinematography is amazing! The muted colour choices and the amount of fog effects add to a lot of amazing shots.

The main cast is fantastic! Favourite characters are Maddy, Jules and Kat.

I find Maddy annoying sometimes, particularly her toxic relationship with Nate, but you could not deny she is such a bad bitch! She subtly reads everyone and I love it when she goes hard on someone and spills the truth!

Am I the only one who didn't realize Jules is trans until that episode about her backstory? I really find her pretty from the start and it just added up to her beautiful character. Also, her creative eye makeup is always on point!

Favourite episode is that one in the carnival. How incredible was that? It was one wild ride; The shots while the plotlines were interweaving, the tension and the drama, the music and the fireworks going off as all of these were happening! I mean...

Who's Hunter Jones? You mean Hunter Schafer? She is extraordinary - as is Barbie Ferreira as Kat.

This is so controversial and off-the-scale shocking it would require ten hours of "Beyond" programmes if it was on Netflix.
