If the criteria is the best opening song out of opening songs then Crazy In Love.

If the criteria is the best opening song that sets the mood for the rest of the album then it's 1+1. DIL has nowhere to go but down after the epicness that is CIL. 1+1 on the other hand is a pretty damn good song by itself and sets the mood for brilliantly for what 4 has to offer.

I am not trying to seduce you... Would you like me to seduce you? Is that what you're trying to tell me?

I mean, is this even up for debate? "Crazy in Love" 100%. "Bigger" deserved better though.

Objectively speaking, there's no way not to name Crazy In Love. That song made her huge and to this day is still one of her greatest hits.

If we're talking personal preference - as in setting the mood for an album - I'd go with Bigger.
Or, if we count solo albums only, Deja Vu.

My choice would be 'Deja vu'.

    Quite comfortably, "Crazy in Love".
You have the luxury of choosing loneliness. For some people, it’s not an option.
