Janet Jackson has just become the first woman to sell out Chase Center, the most luxurious arena and one of the largest concert venues in the US.

I had to Google to see what the fuss is about. You might have as well written the arena was opened 15 days ago. It's not like there has been a lot of chances for many female shows for now

    Don't be jealous.

I'm just glad that demand is growing and the cheapest tickets were much higher than for her previous two tours. Janet had six sold-out shows in San Francisco in front of nearly 100,000 people and grossed over $12 million in this decade alone. It seems that both shows in Honolulu will also be sold-out.

At least in North America and Japan, Janet can tour whenever she wants and as much as she wants — with basic production. So, she'll never be broke.

Now she just has to tour Europe in Taylor Swift's "Lover Fest" style, which means only a few dates and mostly European festivals. Janet was one of the most succesful toring acts in the 90's Europe, and ever at the time, but today, Taylor's model would be perfrct for her.

She definitely brought back her touring power in the US. It took a while, took some very badly attended shows too, but she had to weather it out so people don't think of her tours as - oh why buy a ticket, it's gonna get canceled. But I still don't understand why doesn't she bother with Europe at all. Huge untapped market which she continues to ignore.

P.S. And you know I'm not jealous.
    P.P.S. I also got the silver RN1814

I'm so glad she's repaired her touring reputation, she's a spectacular live act and deserves to fill stadiums. Now if we can just get her to Europe. It pains me to see her cold shoulder such a potentially lucrative market, but I hold out hope she'll get back there.
