'Out of my shell' is the tentative title for Alex's album, which she is still recording. This should follow the next single, which is still being finalised!

Lost Your Mind is being released next is it not? I've seen the video and it's good but that was a few months ago. Its a pity 'Hey Papi' flopped and hopefully the new song does well

'Lost Ur Mind' is cancelled, but compared to 'Out Of My Shell' and 'Lost Ur Best' and even 'Falling', It probably wasn't such a strong track.

It sounds like it's gonna be pretty eclectic LP, and the latest news is that Alex is going into the studio with new soul singer Jamie Scott (currently doing the rounds with his own single, 'Just'), so that's something I'm really looking forward to!

Yeah there's some interesting collabs in the pipeline, "OFM" and "To You" were written with two songwriters called Jon-Paul and Marvin Ambrosius - Martin is Marsha from Floetry's younger brother! *hopes I'm not the only one who remembers Floetry*

Just a quick post to those who kinda casually are vaguely interested in Alex - don't worry, she's still been doing loads of writing in her quest to get a strong album together! She's been working with people in Norway and Ireland, and is heading off to Miami very soon...

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been on for a while, a lot has been going on in my whirlwind of a life and I'm here to bring you the news, from the horses mouth, I don't want you to find out through anyone else. I always promised, I'd be the first to tell when I had anything important to say, so here I am...

But before anything, I'd just like to thank each and everyone of you, for your continuous support, and all the love you have given me *she says all chocked up* you have been so so so amazing, I cannot thank you enough. I will always treasure you and know that you have a very special place in my heart!

Now, as much as I hate to say this, some of the rumours that someone posted on the board, were true, I am in dispute with the production company and EMI have decided they cannot continue with my project, as creatively they feel they have come as far as they possibly could with me. So from today onwards I am no longer signed to EMI records.
What I am going to do now, is keep fighting, NO, I'm NOT going to find myslef another job, cos music is what I do best, I'm gong to sort out all my legal problems and fight for another deal, because that's what I know is in my heart and what I was meant to do with my life. So I hope you'll be around for me when I return, much wiser and stronger, cause I'll be waiting for you!

This is so SHIT, what is happening with the music industry these days, recently it's been one act after the other getting the chop.

What makes me really annoyed is that EMI took so much time, effort and money to help Alex creatively, allowing her to work with so many different people all around the world - and then they've suddenly just given up!

Only Alex knows the fill story though. There's things we don't know - like the legal battle for example!
