Numbers shown inside the brackets identify the Official Chart position for the song on exact week.
I will try to post all the charts, which Alan Smith has been kindly sending me.

                        Excellent thread!

Although, aren't the dates referring to the survey week rather than the publication week, and doesn't that mean you're a week out of sync with the Record Retailer charts?

UFO NME, Record Mirror, and Disc, all dated their charts a week ahead of the published date, up until the early 60's when all gave publication dates. Record Retailer also did this-but we only see the date of publication on those! If you looked at any 1950's early 60's chart this would be the case! An example= If we take the week of November 5th 1960 The date which all the Music and trade papers had on their covers (Publication date) If you looked at the chart pages you would see `chart for week ending 29th October 1960` This causes a lot of confusion. By 1964 all papers gave chart date the same as publication date!

Well…many of them invisible or visible incomplete on the MM parer sheets, which Alan has posted me. Anyway, I’m not sure if I’m in extreme need of them NOW. At least, until I get all the Official Albums Charts.

Please, let me know, whether the Official Chart positions, which I’ve put into brackets, should be really necessary.
If you don’t care about this info, I will stop to show them, because it takes time.

Personally I don't need them, so if it saves time you can leave them out.
