First I thought it's Beyonce because of the problems in the Beyonce B'day thread

But it must be the legendary miss Britney Spears
If that's the case comparing a 7 weeks old album to over a year old album then that's sad. Britney has sold 1.3 million worldwide already.
This album is more clever than apop "blackout" album this album (christina) is very very good one of the best of 2006!!!
Blackout has gotten more better reviews. Blackout even made it onto the Sunday Times list. Which is a list made up of classical and jazz albums.

    www.metacritic.com

Blackout already has 64% in 7 weeks and some of the even better reviews haven`t even been calculated in which would put her at the 70% mark or even over that.

    Back to Basics - 69% in over a year.[/quote:2uuqj0c0]

no, is 64& vs 69%..all the rest is futil..

and who cares about Sunday Time..they are good music critics??[/quote:2uuqj0c0]lol go ahead and follow me around. Still doesn't beat that fact that metacritic hasn't added a lot of the reviews for Blackout which would have it at a higher precentage. It was 63% a week ago, and they moved it up to 64%. It's slowly going up.

Oh and the Sunday Times music list is probably one of if not the highest honor a musician can receive from a credible critic.[/quote:2uuqj0c0]

don't you all think it's stupid to still be discussing these kind of things?.... Now, more than ever, Britney and Christina are making very different kind of music, and are very different singers and have very different lifes. Britney's music is still for fifteen years old girls, which is not bad. Christina's music is for all genres and ages, and she's gaining the respect of everyone in the music market.

I can't believe this, four years later and there's still Britney VS Christina feuds occuring!

WHY? They are both friends, Britney is going through alot lately and christina is being supportive.

If those two made there peace a long time ago then why cant we?

ahahaha sunday times??is neither a music magazine..

check Pitchfork,NME,Kerrang,Blender,Drowned In Sound,Mojo,Observer,Q,PopMatters,The guardian,Spin,Sputnikmusic,Uncut,Rym or Acclaimed Music that are more important..
metacritic have the same method for all albums..so Christina 69%, Britney 64%..
also for christina they miss reviews..they miss it because aren't from importan magazines/sites..

    ^ Wooo

On the other hand Oh Mother isn't even on UK iTunes Top 100 :(

but maybe the good airplay is one of the reasons why Back To Basics re-entered the album chart at #114 in the UK last week

    Switzerland - Year End Charts:

    #22 Hurt
    #46 Candyman
    #69 Tell Me

    #53 Back To Basics

You're just bashing Britney when saying that her music is for 15 year olds. Sorry but last time I checked her demographic from her last tour was 16-35 year olds.

Go look on myspace. Most of her fans are above the age of 18. Oh and if you didn't notice Blackout has many amazing reviews.

    Back to Basics - 69% in over a year.[/quote:2kxc0cyy]

no, is 64& vs 69%..all the rest is futil..

and who cares about Sunday Time..they are good music critics??[/quote:2kxc0cyy]lol go ahead and follow me around. Still doesn't beat that fact that metacritic hasn't added a lot of the reviews for Blackout which would have it at a higher precentage. It was 63% a week ago, and they moved it up to 64%. It's slowly going up.

Oh and the Sunday Times music list is probably one of if not the highest honor a musician can receive from a credible critic.[/quote:2kxc0cyy]

don't you all think it's stupid to still be discussing these kind of things?.... Now, more than ever, Britney and Christina are making very different kind of music, and are very different singers and have very different lifes. Britney's music is still for fifteen years old girls, which is not bad. Christina's music is for all genres and ages, and she's gaining the respect of everyone in the music market.[/quote:2kxc0cyy]lol oh please. You're just bashing Britney when saying that her music is for 15 year olds. Sorry but last time I checked her demographic from her last tour was 16-35 year olds.

Go look on myspace. Most of her fans are above the age of 18. Oh and if you didn't notice Blackout has many amazing reviews.[/quote:2kxc0cyy]

oh come on, how can you like an album whose artist doesn't even know what she is singing, who doesn't care about herself and her own music, who doesn't feel the lyrics that she (or others) wrote, who is completely crazy and under the effects of drugs?

I would never buy and album from an artist in this situation.

That's where you are wrong. She obviously knows what she did on blackout. Executive producer.

Oh and she's not crazy. Being mentally ill and someone who is crazy are two completely different things. But see people who are ignorant and don't do their research will never know that.

Oh and honey Britney has passed all her random drug tests. Once again you'd know that if you did a little bit of research. But you'd rather call her crazy, and a drug addict.
