So we gotta make another chart-topic of R'n'B princess, something about her international success and worldwide sales..........!
    ------------------------------
    B'Day in store 09-05-06!
    ------------------------------
First album "Dangerously In Love" debuted at No.1 on BB200 with sales about 317,000 copies and now is certified 4x Platinum. It spawned US No.1 hits "Crazy In Love" and "Baby Boy". Beyoncé also had a chart success in the UK wih album and singles, mainly with "Crazy In Love".
Does anyone know her estimates sales of "Dangerously In Love" in the UK? Or her opening sales in the UK?

sales worldwide are really really decrease in this 2-3 years.
think that the biggest selling release of last 3-4 month (Aguilera new album) sell "only" 615k worlwide, and we have only 1 album that sell over 1m in first week this year, stadium Arcadium that at the end of the year would sell 5/6 millions..
2-3 years a go an album that sold 5/6m was at #5/#210 position at year end...now in 2006 will maybe the #1 (#2 if consider James Blunt album).
so, it will be impossible reach the sales of DIL.

look Outkast, their last album sell 510k in first week only in usa, the new album is projected to maximun 200k.
last beyonce cd sell 317k in 1° week in Usa, if new album reach that number will be a half miracle.

it sold 790,000 in 2003 + 188,000 in 2004, wich give us a total of 978,000 copies sold - it must be near (or past) 1M by now

it did, but certifications are not automatic... Christina Aguilera's "Stripped" has sold more than 1.8M but still only 3x Platinum

Maybe with a huge promotion (MTV WMA) and commercial and advertisement "B'Day" should sold about 400k in it first US week, there's a shame that "Déja Vu" has not a radio support (mainly POP-radio betray Beyoncé)

so 3x Platinum eligible shipment is correct

No radio support? It´s still Top 20 in airplay chart for many weeks, even tough it´s not huge.

The download sales prove that the public haven´t really "aproved" the song, and the airplay it receives is even bigger then it deserves.

OK but "Check On It" was No.1 on Airplay mainly on Pop Radio and singles from "Dangerously In Love" were massive airplay gainers - in compare "Déja Vu" had good airplay but for Beyoncé's standard it is lower one

Does anyone know precisely what Dangerously in Love sold (not shipped) worldwide (with a breakdown for each continent or major market)? I remember it being low for a while - around 4 million, then later I heard 6 million.

When labels, Billboard etc. report worldwide sales they are shipments (and she gets paid for shipped albums), because actual sales change every week. Having said that here's how much the album shipped in some of the biggest markets in the world.

    United States: 4,500,000 (4.3M SS)
    Canada: 200,000
    Brazil: 60,000
    UK: 900,000
    France: 300,000
    Germany: 200,000
    Switzerland: 50,000
    Netherlands: 40,000
    Japan: 350,000
    South Korea: See below
    Australia: 70,000
    New Zealand: 15,000

    Estimated Worldwide Total: 8,000,000

Thanks. I know. I just remember when the shipped figures were reported for Britney Spears, that one report said that they differed significantly from the offical sold figures. I think some labels have the strategy to get higher certification by shipping an excessive amount of copies.

of course not... The only reason why deja vu didn't do well in digital sales is becoz it took so long b4 her management released in on iTunes.. The fact that deja-vu has already been circulating on the net for about a month and a half, of course the people wont buy it on iTunes anymore.

Took so long? Shakira´s Hips song has been released to itunes centuries after the song was released and still sold in just 1 week what Beyonce´s new song sold in total. Wake up, the album is not even released yet, the song is a failure at downloads because nobody likes it.

Does anyone know any Beyoncé worldwide sales of her singles or US digital download sales?
I just know that "Check On It" crossed 900,000 digital units = Gold and "Crazy In Love", "Baby Boy", "Naughty Girl" are also Gold
