Stole is one of my favourite songs ever from her. I cried many times listening to that song.

"Stole" has very powerful lyrics, I wish it had a better video portraying it like "Waterfalls".

2002 was a huge year for Kelly Rowland and looking back now, it seemed nobody thought that would be the case. Not her, not the label...

And then "Dilemma" happened and they were forced to rush her album. I checked it out when it was released. To my ears, they released the two best songs on the album - both "Stole" and "Can't Nobody" are brilliant pop songs. The rest of the album was... well, I couldn't tell you... I do remember thinking it was incredibly, incredibly bland.
    Baaaaad relationship??

But the video is basically a high school version of Waterfalls' video? I think it fits the song a lot and works great.

I truly believe Mathew intentionally sabotaged her solo career with her lead single (Stole).

^But Stole is great?!?! And did pretty well on the charts. Didn't smash them, but I think a lot of people know that song to this day.

Stole is so lame, such granola tripe except for that random out of place ratchet phrase... “her life was stole”.

Only peaked at #54 on the black chart, effectively killing her urban fanbase after the multiweek #1 Dilemma made her the hottest female artist in the game.

Yeah, "Stole" was very successful internationally. #1 in Belgium, #2 in the UK & Australia, #3 in Ireland & New Zealand, top 10 in Switzerland, Netherlands and many other European countries. It's just the US being a flop as usual.

I do think the album was very weak & all over the place, definitely felt rushed.
