I wish Recharged was being released WW. I may have to dig out the extra money to buy it on import now. Lol.

    its expected .
he's the type of artist that is gonna have
a major breakthrough around his 3rd or 4th
REAL album. Departure counts as his
first album for me cause everything
    else seemed to poppyish/disneyish.

    Jesse's goin' nowhere though.
He said he's already started work
on the new album and its going to follow in
the same path as departure and focus on
    more urban sounds.
In My Veins is fricken marvelous.
I'm pretty sure the-dream took part
    in writing it.
    said like austin powers:

Exactly. In addition to a sizeable hit with Beautiful Soul (It didn't peak high but I reckon it must have sold pretty well overall), he penned a huge #1 (Bleeding Love), is set to write for other artists' upcoming projects (ie Natasha Bedingfield) and scored a big Top 10 hit. Even with disappointing album sales and flop of all other singles, there's no way his label would just let him go .
Hater-bitch, we're taking you to the left.

The thing is he's so unmarketable atm, despite his talent, he's completely between markets but I'm sure that'll change in time. I've never got into this album past Leavin', classic as it is, but the new stuff's ace. I've been obsessed with Crash & Burn over the last few days. In My Veins is an incredible song.

    US iTunes POP 100:

    No. 44 = "Crash & Burn"
    No. 47 = "Body Language"
No. 49 = "How Do You Sleep?" (looks like the original Departure version was removed)
No. 83 = "In My Veins"

I know we're in a recession and album sales aren't what they used to be, but those sales are pretty shocking from a reasonably well-established artist. Some artists have sold double that with hardly half the single success that Jesse has had this era.

I still think this album is fantastic though.

Crash and Burn is by far my favourite new song from the re-release!

    seriously?
those are not from the Recharged..Maybe the original version from another country!
the edition that was sold in my country has a soft cover (or whatever you call it) covered the CD - and it was different with the US one..

but i haven't bought it yet - since i'm looking for the Recharged one

oh yeah and i can't understand why has the label never send all of the Departure singles into Urban radio?

Come On! It's Over should've been huge..

same here! I think it's called "Digipack"? Where it just folds open, not the usual plastic case?

yeah, not a fan of this format, but I think it's more enviro-friendly (the US one has the recycling symbol on the back)

^oh yes something like that..But mine with the different cover, the similar awful cover with the US "Leavin" CD single..

The packaging for the album was made with 100% recycled material, using vegetable based inks. The CD was released using CDVU+ technology. Some of the countries like the UK and Brazil were excluded from the recycled packaging and CDVU+ Software on the release.

New unreleased track leaked called `Unrehearsed` and it´s produced by Ryan Tedder.

It´s the most different song production-wise from Ryan Tedder, I actually don´t believe it´s produced by him, Anyway REALLY good production and song! His vocal delivery doesn´t suit the song though, someone like Usher or Justin Bieber would´ve killed it!

Leavin is #10 Top Pop Song of The Decade (Billboard) - above Irreplaceable, Umbrella, Forever, Just Dance, Poker Face, Bleeding Love, Crazy In Love, No Air, Disturbia & friends
