Has anyone been watching this, it's by far my favourite programme on TV at the moment. I just can't believe how clueless and arrogant some of those Americans are.

I honestly can't believe how mad that restaurant was last night, when all the customers could hear them cursing to death in the kitchen! Madness!
Thought that I was the devil?

I watch it! I love how there's always one arrogant chef who just won't listen and ends up storming off, then at the end he's all humble and admits Gordon was right. It's great cos it's more extreme than over here, like when the debt collectors come calling and a fight breaks out

I've been watching this but don't think it's as good as the last series or the UK version - the scenarios are nearly identical each time! I liked the episode where they got married in the restaurant.

Can Ramsey seriously transform the interiors of these failing restaurants in a few hoyrs overnight like it is shown? I've always been a bit sceptical myself.

Also the episode in the latest series where the guy and his waitress girlfriend got married was to be honest quite unbelievable.

Just get the feeling that there are aspects of this show that are a bit ludicrous. Mind you it's very entertaining.

Aren't American programmes of this sort always prone to "some scenes have been created for the purpose of entertainment" ?

Still, it is great viewing. Though to be fair, there were some great .. Kitchen Nightmares on the original British version. That Welsh couple were a bit mad and that clueless young bloke who fed Gordon gone off fish or something.

Yeah I'm sure they actually have a disclaimer at the end of the show basically saying it's all staged and edited to shreds
