Actually the only ones I own but Anastacia's is nice, Amy Studt's I went off recently :(
You always those two And sad you're going off Amy's one I've had it since May last year and I still love it! And yeah Ahahuha I've never liked Placebo, but started listening to them and was pleasantly surprised they're very cool! And as you can see Michael has been blowing my ipod up the past couple of weeks and 'Dangerous' remains my No1 MJ album! If you don't know any on my chart look on youtube and listen to my 'Hot Tracks'

There's plenty of 'new' ones I don't always feel the need to listen to brand new albums especially when the new albums most people on here obssess about I think are just a bit generic and crap, this is just a geniune chart. And the ones that I've put 'new' next to are new to this chart, not to me personally, if I'd started a chart ages ago, some would have still been there. I've had some albumsfor yonks. And you put Anastacia 'songs' :-? this is an 'album' chart. Thanks for the comment tho.

Thanks for comments! You guys should check out my No1: Gemma Ray she has a very moody/dark/rock/bluesy sound that I'm sure a few people on here would love, not to mention a gorgeous voice genuine hidden gem, my 'Hot Tracks' are just a few of the albums highlights!

    I'll update this on Sunday.

    moody/dark/rock/bluesy?

Is she comparable to Fiona Apple... then I think I'd love her

I'm not sure I'm not very familiar with Fiona, I think she's a bit more ballsy than her, more on the lines of KT Tunstall but just different, theres a melancholic air to it, listen to this track:

Gemma Ray - Dry River [Album:The Leader]
    http://www.last.fm/music/Gemma+Ray/_/Dry+River

Remember listen to whole track, it changes abit throughout.

Other faves are 'On Your Own' & 'Metal In The Morning' if you have iTunes listen to previews on the iTunes store.

Amazing to see Green Day's new albums in top 3. And you like "Last Night On Earth" it's also on of my favourite songs from the album.

Yeah their new album is definitely growing on me now, I think it might still be in top 5 next week, it still isn't as instant as American Idiot, but still great!

That's great you're impressed! Unfortunately she's only got 1 studio album that I'm aware of but she's also done tracks for film soundtracks one example is a cover of '900 miles' for the film 'Mum & Dad' and she has some cool b-sides.

EDIT: Just found out Gemma Ray has another album out called 'Lights out Zoltar!' You can listen to a couple of tracks from it on lastfm and someone just left a message in my shoutbox saying that '900 miles' can be downloaded as a b-side on 25 August on her single '1000mph (in 2nd Gear)'.

    Overview:

Alot of dropouts this week of mainstays i.e. Placebo, Sheryl Crow & Tori but alot of new entries. The most interesting new entry has to be Björks 'Post' album which is a new discovery for me, wow she is quite a talent very raw and experimental album which also includes her trademark hit 'It's Oh So Quiet'. Amy Studt's very beautiful & raw album 'My Paper Made Men' takes a surprising leap to my No1 after going in & out of my chart but I do adore it so, I'v had it since May 2008 and still love it! Check it out, also there are another 11 new entries of mainly older personal classic albums for me. Feel free to comment, and if nufin' interests you then don't

Björk is fantabbo! Just discovered her recently, would've voted for her in the Top 100 Females chart had I been familiar with her! oh well I think I'll probably vote for her next year now! Glad you like her! I'll put my top 20 albums up in a while too!

As you can see Björk has invaded me this week with 3 of her albums charting and 2 of them as new entries, she is a wonderful artist who everyone should check out! Also Tori is probably the most prominent artist with 4 albums charting, she is just pure brilliance. I am in love wih Gemma Rays album and people should check her out as Crystal_ball has and he was impressed she has a very moody and melancholic sound mixed with a ballsiness! I am also loving Sophie's album and also Eva's!

Hurrah for Trip The Light Fantastic!

It's not that great an album actually, but it's one that I have!

What are your favourites? Mine are Catch You, If You Go & Today The Sun's On Us.
I sing for the things money can't buy me.
