I actually think this album has quite a few standouts

Born To Make You Happy is still one of my all time fave Britney tracks! It's SO good

Soda Pop is also amazing, I always loved it even when nobody else did! I love the reggae feel!

The original of (You Drive Me) Crazy is vastly superior to the Stop! remix, although I'm the only one who thinks so :-?

Thinkin' About You is also fabulous, and so catchy! Same goes for Deep In My Heart! Such great bubblegum pop tracks

I Will Be There has great guitar IMO, and The Beat Goes On is actually a pretty good cover track!

And of course it's title track is fantastic

I never liked Email My Heart or that crappy duet with that Don Philip guy. Who the hell was he anyway?
    I've now met Dean Ambrose FOUR TIMES - 28/03/15, 02/04/16, 20/08/16 & 01/04/17!!

Thirteen years ago, our Queen released her debut album. So proud of how she's managed to stay relevant in such a fickle industry!

It'd be cool if we could get Legendney to trend too.

For me her weakest album, only like these songs:
    1. ...Baby One More Time
    2. (You Drive Me) Crazy
    3. Sometimes
    4. Soda Pop
    5. Born To Make You Happy
    8. I Will Still Love You
    11. The Beat Goes On
I am not trying to seduce you... Would you like me to seduce you? Is that what you're trying to tell me?

Obviously the best song on the record is the killer "Baby one more time", the second best song from this era is "Deep in my heart" which is vintage Britney at best. "Crazy" and "Born to make you happy" also deserve honorable mentions.

"Soda pop" is an underrated jam, 90% of fans list this tune as one of Britney's worst songs ever, IMO its underrated 90s bubblegum GOLD.

There are 7 really good songs on this album:

    Baby
Crazy! (although the Stop! Remix is better)
    Sometimes
    Born to Make You Happy
From the Bottom of My Broken Heart
I Will Be There (AMAZING. Definitely a bop!)
Deep In My Heart (can't understand why this was only included on the European edition)

    Two average songs:

    I Will Still Love You
    Thinkin' About You

    And three forgettable embarrassments:

    Soda Pop :-?
    E-mail My Heart
The Beat Goes On (I hate her cover of this otherwise classic song)

So 9 of the 12 tracks I can listen to. It's not as bad as people make it out to be, and I think she has two albums weaker than this one (Fatte Female and Barbara Joan). The album is frontloaded with its best tracks and loses its way a bit in the second half. I'd rate it 3/5.

...Baby One More Time - 5
(You Drive Me) Crazy - 3.5 (The Stop! Remix is a 5 for me)
    Sometimes - 3.5
    Soda Pop - 2.5
Born To Make You Happy - 5
From the Bottom of My Broken Heart - 3
    I Will Be There - 3
    I Will Still Love You - 2
    Thinkin' About You - 3.5
    E-mail My Heart - 2
The Beat Goes On - 3

(I never overestimate - I use the numbers 1-5 for Britney's (high) standard of songs. I jsut think that this record can't hold a candle to BRITNEY or Circus.)

    Baby 5
Crazy 3.5 (5 for the Stop! Remix; the music on this version is outdated and quite flat)
    Sometimes 5
Soda Pop 1 (Her worst song period. Abominable.)
Born to Make You Happy 5 <3
From the Bottom of My Broken Heart 4.5
    I Will Be There 5
I Will Still Love You 3
    Thinkin' About You 2.5
    E-mail My Heart 2
    The Beat Goes On 1.5

Really not her best at all, sorry! Too much filler.

    Deep In My Heart 5
    Autumn Goodbye 4

    Haven't heard I'll Never Stop...

This is my least favorite Britney album overall, but it does contain some absolutely brilliant jams!

I can still remember the first time I saw "...Baby One More Time" on MTV and the day I bought a cassette tape of this album! So many memories!
