Considering that she hasn't had a big download hit yet, it's very hard to believe in this figure...
She's sold around 17-17.5m singles WW

Does anyone have or know where I can find a break down of her worldwide sales on her albums and singles?

Here is mine:

Original Source

Christina Aguilera is a grammy-award winning singer-songwriter who has found worldwide fame with her inspirational songs and fantastic voice (which spans 4 octaves or thereabouts)

Here are her WorldWide album sales (with US sales in brackets)

ALBUM SALES:

Christina Aguilera - 13million copies (9.5million US)
Mi Reflejo - 1.4million copies (700,000 US)
My Kind of Christmas - 1.2million copies (1million US)
Just To Be Free - 0.1million (50,000 copies US)
Stripped - 10million copies (4.5million US)
Back To Basics - 4.5million copies (2million US)
Keeps Gettin' Better: Greatest Hits - 0.8million copies (0.25million US)

TOTAL: I have her at 31.1million worldwide

=====================================================

Christina Aguilera RIAA:

Christina Aguilera: 8x Multi-Platinum
My Kind of Christmas: Platinum
Mi Reflejo: 6x Multi-Platinum*
Stripped: 4x Multi-Platinum
Back To Basics: Platinum

Total: 14.5million RIAA Shipments

*Mi Reflejo is a Spanish album and under RIAA, they are certified differently. Its 6x Multi-Platinum certification is equivalent to 1.2million copies as opposed to 6million copies (in this circumstance, platinum = 200,000 copies shipped)

Wasn't there another thread like this? I remember it included some info on single sales etc. I'm too lazy to search for it (especially with the search engine of this site which I hate ).

I also agree with 04wayne's estimations. She's sold (not shipped) around 30-31 million albums IMO. And singles sales must be over 18 million (including all her collaborations). I even think 20 million 'cause Tell Me and Keeps Gettin' Better each sold around 1 million downloads/singles worldwide. She's sold ~50 million records and could've been so many more if she had released more studio albums. But what can we do... can't wait for the next era.

20m is very hard to reach - from what I've gathered so far, its very hard to get her past 18m :-?

I don't have the link anymore but its from IFPI 2006 Year end chart...
But even if we try to add her worldwide sales we can't go over 4M...1.6M in the Us + 1,4(maybe?) in Europe and 0.8 in the rest of the world seems about right...

To estimate the worldwide singles sales is not easy to do anyway. Just post what you've got.

She was #15 on the IFPI 2006 year end chart and did not chart on the YEC 2007. But the 4,5 million number is too high. I always say the album sold around 4 million ww which could mean something like 3.9 or 4,1. We never got official statements about this album's sales from RCA/Sony BMG as far as I know.

1 million copies for the Xmas album? WOW because it wasn't promoted and never charted in catalogue charts.

B2B WW sales should be around 4 million copies as candyman said.

Any source for UK sales of B2B??

You seem to forget that her album was still selling and charting in 2007..

So for you to say it can't go over 4M LOL?

B2B sold 4.3M Worldwide

http://www.worldwidealbums.net/

And it sold WAY more than 1.5M in Europe.

Oh and because of that, she must've sold 40m singles WW?

Regarding the B2B issue, I feel its easily gone over 4m copies

B2b worldwide sales are way too overrated. i assume that it's sold around 3.5-3.8 million.

US = 1.6 mill
UK = 0.5 mill

US+UK=2.1 million

if B2B album's sold 4.3-4.5 milllion WW. where in the world countries she could sell extra over 2 million?

It's 1xPlatinum (300k) but has sold over 500k. Last year when her GH album got released they published the latest B2B sales which I've posted in the B2B thread last year:

https://www.ukmix.org/forums/viewtopic.p ... start=4250

It was 502,054!

7 milllion? No way...

US downloads:

ANOM over 1,3 million ( I think the latest numbers I saw were 1,35 m)
Candyman left the Top 75 chart with over 700k downloads (should be at ~800k by now)
Hurt left the Top 75 with around 650k (should be over 700k by now)

That is 1,3 + 0,8 + 0,7 = 2,8 million downloads alone in the US from 3 official singles + add other album tracks. So 3 m for the B2B singles in the US. Hurt was big in Europe and reached gold in a few countries including Germany (150,000). The overall sales for Hurt must be 1,5+ million (including the 700k from the US) and also Candyman was platinum in Australia (140k), has sold over 100k in the UK. Easily at 1,3 million ww. And ANOM has sold way over 2 million ww.

A lot of numbers lol here's a short summary:

ANOM 2+ million
Hurt 1,5 million
Candyman 1,3 million
= 4,8 m + other album tracks (especially in the US) and Oh Mother. 5 million at least.

These all are rough estimations. So feel free to discuss and correct me. And I feel ANOM must've sold way more than 2 million ww (with 1,35 in the US and around 200k in the UK) but it wasn't THAT big everywhere. And don't forget that Tell Me must've sold 700-800k ww as well during the B2B era.

So I see at least a minimum of 5,5 million singles sold during 2006/2007 (including Tell Me).

And another thing (example):

During 2008 and 2009 she's sold around 2 million records ww. KGB: ADOH 800k, KGB single over 1 million (900k downloads in he US, 60k in the UK) and the B2B Live DVD between 100 and 200k (which is for example 2xP in Australia and which sold 17 or 18k in the US in its first week).

The problem here is that a lot of people mix the estimations of "real sales" and "shipments".

Here's some kind of an example:

Quote Originally Posted by carlo_thebest

Carlo obviously talks about shipments but the album's last week's sales on the Billboard 200 were 1,570 million in the US and it was 2 years ago. The album is easily at 1,65 m by now AND its shipments could be anywhere from 1,7-1,9 million if not more, so how can you say 1,6 m?

--

Of course B2B didn't sell 4,5 million but could've almost shipped so much (maybe 4,1-4,3 million).

How I estimate Back To Basics:

1,65 m (US) + 505k (UK) + 120k (Japan) = 2,25 - 2,3 m
^ We know this sales at least.

Then:

300k in Canada (certified by CRIA in January 2007, 5 months after the release) I'd assume it has also sold close to 300k.

700-800k in the rest of Europe (including: a platinum cert. in Germany for 200k and if I remember correctly the member Silence posted the French sales which were over 100k and I'm not sure but I think zago's estimation for Italy was over 60k? + This album had many Gold/Platinum cert. in other European countries.) BTW B2B was certified 1xP for 1 million shipments by IFPI (Platinum Europe Awards) in December 2006.

150k in Australia and New Zealand (it's 2xP for 140k in Australia).

That's 3,5 million and then add other ww sales (e.g. South America and Asia). So your're right with 3,7-3,8 million (or even more?) but the album must've shipped over 4 million.

B2B sales has been overestimated for a long time. The album WW sales are around 3.7 millions according to her own level.
