    Tom's Diner should've been a single!!
Would've loved to have seen a video for it.

    It's still a great tune!

Right? No thanks. It’s not 2012 anymore.

As for her 'A&R trying to make urban pop Britney happen', the ignorance is a little too much....Britney herself has been trying to make music with urban influences for ages. It's just that she didn't have any artistic freedom until Glory.

I don’t think he/she is referring to that kind of dance music. But rather a Confessions on a Dancefloor kind of dance I guess.
I’d love her to experiment with dance, disco and 80s influences. That could be great.

It's Britney that typically loves more the Urban and melodious songs rather than anyone else.
If it were up to her she would definitely go more of the urban pop route.

She did dance heavy albums with Femme Fatale and BJ.
While Femme Fatale is a good album, you can tell she barely had any creative control.
And BJ was just a huge mess! Please no more dance heavy albums.

80's/disco influenced tracks are welcome though. I would love for her to experiment a bit with that sound. I think she could sound really great with it.

Anyway, I'm curious to find out what the next album will sound like. Just please don't let Larry make any choices regarding the album... *ahem* clusmy *ahem* ...

As much as I love "Femme Fatale" I really don’t need another album like it. But I also don’t need another "Glory" even though that’s in my trinity.

To be honest right now I really don’t know what I want her to do next because I‘m really not thinking about the next album at the moment because of all the stuff that happened to her this year. That REALLY got to me as a fan and made me forget completely about an album or a new show. I don’t want her to do anything until she is free because I don’t want her team and her father to make more money.
    Just my two cents.

Back to the dance album discussion: "Britney Jean" is (for me) her only album that aged terribly because of the dated EDM that used to be popular in 2012 so there’s that. Doing one track like she did with "Clumsy" on "Glory" is totally fine though.

I'd be here for a Confessions type album as well, I think that'd be really interesting. But she better leave EDM in the early 2010s where it belongs. It'd be such a downgrade from Glory.

    People's logic with Britney:

    People: "I don't like Tom's Diner", it's too robotic"

People: *Play Femme Fatale on repeat while claiming "Yay this is great"*

. . And BTW, if Britney's returning to "dance" music it better be with something like this masterpiece un-used song from the ITZ sessions:

One of my absolute faves! I know this leaked the week Glory was released, so it was overlooked by most fans. This is how you do dance music.

Omg so glad that I finally found some fellow Instant Déjavu stans! It would’ve sounded so out of place on ITZ but damn it’s so good. Of course it’s good because it’s a reject from the best album ever. I just love everything about it. ;,)

It's a flawless song but yeah I can also understand why it didn't make the cut so I'm not mad about it . . . those were the days where even the reject tracks were top-notch though.

3 years ago today, Britney released "Make Me..." as the lead single from her ninth studio album, "Glory". The critically acclaimed track peaked at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is certified 1x Platinum in the US.

Happy 3rd anniversary to this gem! Still one of her best leads It has aged so well.

Yay 3 years already! I legit love this tune, I remember the excitement when it came out and being slayed because it was exactly what I wanted (sound-wise) for Britney at that time.
