For me it was a real nightmare to get Maluma or Anitta in her songs . . . unfortunately (for me) it ended up becoming true.

I think Madonna was never interested in making rock and I congratulate her for that, I think she would do shameful things like that remix of American life in RIT that luckily was just that.

If she had been interested, she could have joined industrial rock/metal music in the mid-90s when Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein or Ministry were very popular, after all she had already made her R&B album like most of the others artists with Bedtime Stories, why would not I do it with industrial music if she had been interested? Most rock or metal artists and people like David Bowie, Michael Jackson!? (morphine), etc they made music of that genre or tried to approach that.

David bowie made an R&B album (Black Tie White Noise, 1993) before his album with influences of industrial rock music (Outside,1995) and then an album of electronic/dance (Earthling, 1997), practically the same as madonna only that she lacked the industrial rock album.

Madonna has done a few rock songs tho, even alternative rock ones like "Candy Perfume Girl".

Also several of her live performances have been adapted into rock versions of her songs. Madonna does support Rock music, she just didn't want to do a full album of that nature, that's all.

As for jumping on bandwagons and not joining the industrial/rock/grunge scene of the 90s it was nothing against rock, that was because back in those days she had enough personality to not jump into trends and do whatever she wanted, it's not like nowadays that she would jump into any sh*tty trendy artist like Maluma.

    I don't have a problem with rock.
I am not trying to seduce you... Would you like me to seduce you? Is that what you're trying to tell me?

I never said that she had something against rock I just said that she seems not interested in him except sometimes, I prefer not to talk about her rock versions, we would end up talking about her and her guitar and that is never good
She had already jumping several bandwagons in Bedtime Stories...

I think Keep It Together has been underrated all these years. I remember when it was first released. It reached #8 on the Hot 100 without a video but it was the song that WB released right after Oh Father peaked at #20, her first song at the time to miss the top 10 since Holiday and breaking her streak of top 5 and top 10. Years later I could stream Keep It Together and it’s something that can fit easily on both AL and Confessions. Also voted for Express Yourself.

Was listening to the single remix yesterday and was thinking the same: KIT still sounds fresh as hell up to these days

Anitta confirmed on an interview that her collaboration with Madonna is for a Madonna project .
Therefore ,she can't speak about it as she only talks about her own projects.
    But,she said it's very close .

    Close like in Madonna's world?
I'm expecting remix featuring Anitta and Maluma.

    So Maluma and Anita confirmed.

I really have lowered my expectations about her new album.

She was really vague . So,idk if she'll be able to talk about the collab because the album will be released or if it's because the single will be released.
Either way,"soon" in Anitta's world is definitely not the same as in Madonna's world.
This year alone she has alrady released 4 singles and the next one (with Rita Ora) is coming tomorrow.
She works like a maniac and if she says "soon", I believe it's close to happen.
    Either way,everything can change.
Like she said, it belongs to Madonna.

The story of Madonna's early years is something that has to be in a movie, but this one is terrible.
