Very wise. Her sophomore album is such a disappointment!

totally forgot about evanescence ^^ are they still making music? =P

Back to Leona, I think Echo wasn't bad at all =( I think she just needs to come back when people want her big ballads back to the radio...

I liked "Echo" a lot but it definitely lacked single material. By the end of the album you did begin to wonder whether she was capable of singing anything besides dreary ballads. Everything from the miserable tone of her voice, to the bland production, to the glum lyrics, to the grey album art was dull and depressing.

I am glad. The Echo era has been a huge flop for her, except in the UK. She needs to work with new people with this album. Try to make better songs, and do not release a ballad as the lead single.

That's very fast Maybe they mean a re-release? That would make more sense.
Echo has some very good songs (I Got You, Outta My Head, Lost Then Found, Stop Crying Your Heart Out) but also some very boring ones. And it lacks single material.

The sooner the better. "Echo" is by no means a bad record, it's just a bit too much of a "Spirit" re-hash.

She needs to switch it up this time and show more versatility. Failing that, she needs another "Bleeding Love" or a massive R&B lovesong like "We Belong Together".

    yeah it sounds logical.

she has no time to record a brand new album. in a couple months she's touring for the first time!!!

agreed. "I Got You" isn't exactly a smash, but it's still doing better than anticipated, so I think they should at least give Echo a 3rd single ("Outta My Head"), then decide the next move after seeing how that does...if it has lukewarm reception and doesn't help album sales, then they can rightfully abandon Echo (though I still wouldn't recommend rushing out album #3 too soon...definitely not before 2011)

but if single #3 actually helps pick up the momentum of this project, I'd be all for a re-release and a couple more singles

I hope it's the re-release they were talking about.
I don't wait this project to fail.

Echo is hardly boring. The only song i skip is Don't Let Me Down. She should milk this album, if that's possible :-?
    But I believe in peace!

She needs to be more versatile. If she got some AMAZING r&b jams with uptempo stuff too, similar to Kelly Rowland and Alicia Keys she would be more than capable and HUGE. I'm telling ya now! She just lacks the personality for that though i guess.
