390k copies sold is good just for a mixtape ? :-?
I hope his album will be enormous, like predicted by everybody, in particular during the first week !

i think 400k for mixtape is pretty good, it's already an equivalent to Fiddy's last studio effort e.g. I think his first full album will be given big hype and will score very good first week sales

It's the first official single ?
I have listened a new song of him two days ago on the site of MTV. Good song apparently (it was just an extract).
Great increase for a beginning !

Yes, it's very sad for Fiddy's to be at the level of a mixtape now !

Okay, in fact it was my expectation who was totally crazy for this mixtape : I thought 1 million was possible with the madness around him ! But my expectations are very often crazy !

Yes i understand but the madness is still here, check the billboard
But the So far gone EP was only 7songs with 1new song.
And the whole thing was free since 7month.
    so 400k is CRAZY.

he have to score a major first week.He Have to! :-?

Because the only two rap artist who reach platinum was Em and Jay and the rap game needs a newcomer to come and hit a home run in this game.

The last newcomer who came and see longevity and big success was Kanye in 2004 (i talk freshmen/underdog) so he have to.
Even if Cudi does good numbers 300k-400K if i remember,it's not enough unfortunately. :-?

I want a 600k first week in the worst case!
Depends on a how "Over" increase on radio and itunes,if the "Away from home Tour" goes well and if the promotion is well organize.

I agree. The market is disappointing for the Hip-Hop artists at this time... :( Now 50 Cent is very weak, I hope like you a new artist like Drake can to take over...

i hope so.But i think it's only depend on the marketing promotion put behind him because nowadays quality doesnt equally big sell ( except Sade).
They have to promote him heavily and radios have to follow.

Again a good increase, but it's just the beginning. It will be interesting to see if the increase can to be above 2 million during at least 10-15 days.

The EP will go Gold for sure...Best I Ever Had and Forever were 2 dope tracks...but he made the wrong choice by signing with Young Money Entertainment instead of Roc Nation...What a mess...

I think he made a good choice,he stay loyal to his team.
Like he said,Wayne put his trust in him when no one believed in him.
And young money has no input in his music and his album,he have 100% creative control so there's no difference.
it's just the public perception " oh young money is wack,etc..."

Do you really think so? :-?

I think that the album will feature appearences from Young Money artist...and that's bad cause they are really wack...There's no doubt Drake is the most talented there...

Just Lil Wayne!!!that's all and they made great song together(Ransom,Ignorant Shit,Stunt Hard,Forever).

You can read this article if you want to be sure about the fact young money has no input in his music:

    http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/music_b ... alty-.html

The other collaborations like i said before on the topic are just Jay-z(God Mc),Jeezy,Kanye,Dream,Francis and the light and maybe Eminem.
