My favorite album by Sheryl is 'C'Mon C'Mon', it's very summery and uplifting. I love 'Soak Up The Sun' (it's my fav. Sheryl song) and 'Steve McQueen'. IMO - she's beenr eally consistent over the years: she never dissapoints. I do feel she's very underrated though.

    was that too much?

safe and sound made me a fan, c'mon c'mon (the album) made me a super fan but Wildflower made me a die hard super hardcore fan. I didn't like All I wanna do.. that song is too simple for me (musically)!

Wildflower > Detours > C'mon C'mon are my favourite releases of her. 100 miles from memphis has some amazing songs too (like sideways)

Wildflower was her apex IMO, I clicked with every song. I also love her s/t and The Globe Sessions albums.

I hate the bad response Wildflower got I agree I loved nearly every song, her new album is quite dissapointing on first listen!

I feel the same way. Sadly two of the only three songs (I also like Our Love Is Fading) that do anything for me are cover songs, "I Want You Back", which I thought was a nice tribute to MJ who gave her one of her first big breaks on the Bad tour, and "Sign Your Name"

European tour cancelled due to little sales.

The performance in NL was already replaced from the Heineken Music Hall to the smaller 013 in Breda.

She's one of my top five favorite artists right now. Her sophomore album and The Globe Sessions are classics.

I'm not really feeling her releases starting from C'mon C'mon though, but Detours sparked my interest toward her again.

Her debut and her latest release didn't do much for me though.
    But I believe in peace!

'Detours' is great for me, not all of the songs are great but her old spunk was back and I was feeling it! I hope she makes it high on the legends countdown. I can't remember if she was eligible?

There are 2 countdowns being held in the 'Mad About Music' section, one for UKMIX legends and one for our overall favourite artists (or more current). I also wonder where Tori will rank, I gave her some nice points.

How come I didn't know about that before?! Will surely be following that now! Thanks!

Tori should be charting high She's in her own league. Here's hoping Alanis, Jewel and Bjork to make it in the charts, too

Back to Sheryl, which of her album do you like most? Personally I'd choose her self-titled. Only because Hard To Make A Stand is in it It's my favorite song of hers by far!

my alltime fave Sheryl album might be Detours followed by C'mon C'mon and The Globe Sessions and Wildflower.

she is sooo amazing. her voice is sooo underrated. she is one of the best female singers out there.

I agree, her voice is very distinctive. I do not know how to describe it though, smoky perhaps?

I'd rank her albums as follows:
    1. Sheryl Crow
    2. The Globe Sessions
    3. Detours
    .
    4. Wildflowers
    .
    5. C'mon C'mon
    6. Tuesday Night Music Club
    .

100 Miles from Memphis isn't that bad. Sideways is absolutely amazing for example.. but unfortunately, it does have alot of unmelodic fillers.

One of my fave singers but I haven't go round to buying Detours and 100 Miles from Memphis yet. My fave album is Sheryl Crow, followed by Wildflower.

Fave songs include Strong Enough, Run Baby Run, Hard To Make A Stand, Home, Abilene and Hole In My Pocket.
You taste just like glitter mixed with rock and roll

Thanks stevyy! I am assuming that C'mon, C'mon is her biggest first week sales ever and not Sheryl Crow, right?
