    ˇATTENTION!

Okay - I've cleaned up this topic. That means, I've removed all the filesharing links, the requests for those links ('please PM me...') and all other crap. Why? Well - basically because it's ILLEGAL to share illegal files on UKMix.

I do understand that you guys can't help it if an album leaks, but that doesn't mean everyone can just post and share it here on UKMix. I also know a lot of you will probably buy the record in the end, but again, that's not an excuse to post and share download links.

Filesharing is illegal, so we don't want it to happen on UKMix, it's as simple as that.

What's not illegal, is talking about the music that has leaked. So that means you can discuss the the songs, the artwork, post personal reviews and all. So next time - please do NOT post or ask for links. I understand that if you want to get the album before the release date (so, besically when it leaks), it's really easy to get for you nowadays, but not via UKMix. It's not my, or UKMix's business where you get your album, as long as it's not from here. The only thing you can do on UKMix is discussing the music.

So - I've removed all the posts and the moderation team will look into it. I've noticed that a lot of new posters signed up, basically just to ask for those illegal links. A lot of 'newbies' seem only to be interested in those files, rather than discuss the music here on the site. There were also some posters who actually posted some of these links. I think some of them can expect a ban.

I also know that a lot of people are here to actually discuss the music. They don't have to worry.

Now please, let's stick to the music, ok?

Mariah Carey may or may not be pregnant, but one thing’s for sure, she will be delivering a bundle of joy this holiday season. The sequel to the pop songbird’s Christmas album has been given an official title and due date.

Rap-Up.com has exclusively learned that Mimi’s upcoming holiday project will be called Merry Christmas II You. The II represents the follow-up to 1994’s multi-platinum Merry Christmas album, which spawned the now-classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” The new offering is scheduled for a November 2 release and will include original material as well as covers of holiday classics.

An accompanying DVD will also be released the same day, but there are currently no details on what exactly it will contain. The packaging was shot in the spring by famed photographer David LaChapelle and features a festive setting with fake snow, tinsel, and wooden reindeers.

Mariah’s manager Chris Lighty tweeted that she is working with the Home Shopping Network (HSN) to promote the project, which is guaranteed to be the perfect stocking stuffer.

The title is simple, but cute. I wonder what will be on the dvd. Maybe music videos or live recordings of the songs?

I hope the DVD includes an acoustic live mini-concert to promote the album.

The reports of wooden reindeer and fake snow in the album art is slightly worrying.

i wonder how good or bad the idea of promoting this cd is via home shopping channels.. *cringe*

I love the title. I'm so excited for the artwork and content. And that we get an extra dvd is amazing news too. I wonder what it'll be > a concert? complete videography? look forward.

Yeah but hopefully LaChappelle did a good job. It was LaChappelle who confirmed that in April so hopefully he managed to make it festive and not tacky.

    Yay we have a title!

I love it, so simple but it works.

What could the DVD be I wonder? I hope it's some sort of festive Mariah show, with a Behind the scenes as bonus

I think shes trying to appeal to an AC audience by promoting it on HSN and also it would be easier to promote it on that while pregnant.

OMG! Banzai you're always so quick with opening threads!!

I love the title. Curious to see the content of the DVD. Hopefully it will have music videos, live performances, stories behind each song, Mariah interviews etc etc

If you don't get on the ride, you won't experience the adventure...

HaHa the title is fab, I approve. I wonder what Christmas classics she'll cover, how can you beat the likes of "O Holy Night" and "Joy To The World" ?

Love the album title it's so cute!! Thank you Banzia. I can't @ the amount of replies already.

This title is so cute. I just hope the music will reflect it. Sounds like she's been working hard she's kept everything a secret for this project unlike Memoirs when she tweeted her every move.

I wonder what this DVD is? How Exciting!!!

the HSN promotion is very smart IMO. a lot of jewelry buyers, house-wifes, holiday shoppers, etc watch HSN and/or read HSN catalogues - seeing "Merry Christmas II You" as a hot new "pick of the season" will definitely lure thousands of buyers.

Santa will be very nice to u this year Mariah

What a great title! I love it, it's quite classy and a perfect sequel to the first Christmas album!

I'm officially in excited mode for this.
