    Hi Carlo,

    I'm new here..
I always visit the forum but never posted here ..

Well, I think the estimates for TBE are low because it already sold 200k in Brazil. I remember also that it has sold over 30k in Japan, adding the sales of those countries with sales of U.S already have 650k .. So, I believe it has more than 700k, no?

I'm Brazilian and my english sucks, sorry!
Well I'm Italian and my english sucks too so...

I thought that The Beyoncé Experience Live sold like 100k in Brasil....Where did you read that it sold 200k?

2xp was the lastest one. I doubt we'll get more..

so we have B'day certification in Asia as...
    China Platinum (30k?)
    Korea Platinum (15k)
    Philippines Platinum (30k)
    Japan around 400k Sold
    Singapore Platinum (15k)
    Indonesia 2xPlatinum (100k)

I think B'day is at least Platinum in other asia countries too.
so the sales/shipment is more than 700k in Asia.

Since mid-2003 every CD and DVD made in Brazil comes with a code wich means the "number" of the press and how many copies were made of that edition. ABPD is the official organization for certifications in Brasil, so those numbers on the CD's/DVD's would be the same that ABPD uses to certify albums.

OMG Thanks Sayonce & Carlo for all those updates.

So, each 'Dangerously In Love', 'B'Day' & 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' each has been certified 2x Platinum in Indonesia.
I'm so proud of my country.

And I remember Beyonce received the Double(?)Platinum award for 'B'Day' when she was here during 'The Beyonce Experience'.

Yes, here B'Day is definitely her best seller, it got such amazing reviews from local TV news, etc praising songs like 'Suga Mama' & 'Irreplaceable' (I remember watched than on my local TV) - accidentally both were also my favorites from the album at that time.

'Deja Vu' & 'Irreplaceable' both were huge. 'Deja Vu' was huge because it was her comeback single and the hot video. 'Irreplaceable' was huge because of its memorable 'to the left' phrase. Plus, she got 'The Beyonce Experience' here. The media praised it as 'Musical Event of The Year' even though some of them still criticizing her sexiness onstage.

In the 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' era, the album sales are lower (maybe) since the increase of digital download & ringtone sales. But singles wise, all of the singles were huge here, with 'If I Were A Boy' being a female anthem here, plus the hype of last year's VMAs & her presence in 'Telephone' definitely help her name relevant here.

    http://www.abpd.org.br/certificados_interna.asp

buyt their database is not good.
for Beyonce, only Beyonce Experience(2xP=100k) and IASF(Diamonds) is there.

we have IASF code as total 269k so far.

It sold 6.7 roughly a month ago, so it's edging closer and closer to 7 million.

Selling albums has become so hard but it seems like Beyoncé is simply ignoring this crisis, whereas other artists like Rihanna are struggling to sell the same amount as before. Rated R is a masterpiece and everyone who bought the album loves it but its clearly less commercial and less successful.

Anyways good luck for the new release...

I don't see what's so impressive about these numbers after 100 singles and 2 years of active promo.

What are you talking about. Full 2 year promo??? If I am not wrong Europe promo ended in 2008. Also the only singles that got FULL WORLDWIDE releases were:

    01. If I Were a Boy
    02. Single Ladies (wasn't even meant to be WW)
    03. Halo
    04. Sweet Dreams

So what are you talking about?

This album have had 9 singles (international or regional). "Why Don't You Love Me" still promotes this album one way or another. She released 2 deluxe editions, platinum editions, digital bonus ep... Grammy awards she dominated was this year. That's why these numbers doesn't seem so impressive to me.

^ there're many albums had different single in each countries, WDYLM is just video only promotional release.
the deluxe version was released with original edition like most of other albums nowadays, new deluxe was reedition version in america,(though eventually new deluxe releaed in few more countrues too) while Platinum edition was for rest of the world.

Digital EP? which is not counted in album sales and it was for the people who already have original edition, so they don't need to but new edition for few new track.
also others have many editions too.

2 years promotion? yes If we count everything, but it's same to all the artist. lol
she promote a lot in US when album came out for Boy and SL, also she did halo 3 times, that's all. internationally, she only visit UK, France, Japan, Spain for If I were a boy only in 2008. and Boy, SL, Halo, SD was big hit world wide.

the thing is most of artist can't even make hit with first single. look at all the flop, underperform artists in last few years.
and don't act like other can make it with 5~6 singles. when they barely make huge with first or second single.
that's why other can't have many singles.

As IASF pass previous B'day sales, it already impressive.

Don't answer to him/her...It's probably upset because his favourite artist can't sell a copy worldwide and they probably release just one single so it's trying to find a reason...
