Just like last time (and every year actually), my year-end chart contains songs that may have not been released as singles; in fact some of them may have not been released within the year at all.
It merely represents the songs I loved the most during the previous 12 months and started to like within that period, or shortly before.
2010 has been an odd year for me music-wise, meaning I didn't engage myself in listening to music as much as I used to. I'm certain 2010 was a great year for music - unfortunately I was not there to listen to it.
There will be no video or shortlist before this year's countdown, merely a mention of some songs that just missed out.

Also, an honourable mention must go to Groove Armada's amazing album, especially their collaboration with Will Young, which unfortunately didn't make the list either.
The list this year is unashamedly poppish, containing a few dance numbers, lots of female vocalists and the token random oldie as usual.

I like Lady GaGa and the Wideboys remix of Example. I can't stand that Derulo song though.
It's a shame you haven't been listening to as much this year! I'm still looking forward to the countdown though - obviously!

Taking a look at some of this year's charts here, I'm surprised to see that much dislike for Derulo, I understand why some may find him annoying though!
Thanks for the responses and, no, I only wish film-making took up my time - it's plain trivial everyday life routine I'm afraid.

Now, I knew GaGa has built her career on aping Madonna, but that is just too much!!!
Hot Chip is definitely a contender for video of the year! Gaga: take note.
Also good to see Flor so high up there - it finished inside the Irish Top 30 Singles for the year, too, which also caught me by surprise, given that it's been around for years already!
I may be wrong, but didn't Surisan take part in the FSC last year? EDIT: She did, and you even started a thread which received no replies...
And shame Mr Dogulu (sorry, his name reminds me of Sweden's awful 1984 ESC winner!!) didn't make the cut. More Turkish pop, please!
Oh, and by the way, it's a shame you haven't had time to make a video this year, as you did in previous years. But fantastic to get this window into the music you've enjoyed in the last 12 months when we had precisely ZERO weekly updates!!!

I wish I could find more turkish pop in the same vein as Kemal's, but even he seems to have abandoned his electronic roots for a more oriental sound, as evident in his latest EP.
