ARTPOP is officially certified Platinum in the US. The RIAA just published on their website.
All of Gaga's solo albums are now certified platinum or higher.

Not bad for a single with no video.

They overestimated a lot both albums.

First of all, the article says 989k for BTW and 2.94 million for TF/TFM. Not those numbers you're posting.

    But let's go further...

This is what you posted back in Feb. 2017 here, when OCC published that article:

    Quote Originally Posted by Westen

So, let me see, in Sept. 2014 MusicWeek posted it was at 986,847 (pure sales, streaming wasn't counted then), but then you wanted us to believe that 2 and a half years later it had sold only 2k copies more... and, even funnier, now you're saying that in Feb. 2017 its sales were 981k... Less than they were in Sept. 2014!!!

THESE were MusicWeek exact figures in September 2014:

    To Date Albums
Lady Gaga - The Fame 2,896,724
Lady Gaga - Born This Way 986,847
    Lady Gaga - Artpop 204,310

The Buzzjack Top 100 Decade chart is done with MusicWeek figures...

So that OCC article's figures are a mess, just like they are most of the time in most of their articles and recaps....

And it's funny, cause I read you complaining about OCC figures not being right... and how they downgrade figures... and that it's impossible for this or that album to have sold that little through the years... Right?

This is what YOU posted back in Feb. 2017 here when OCC published that article:
First of all that is not true, reading is essential.

combined sales tally of 989,000. 787,000 of you bought a physical copy and it's sold 194,000 downloads.
Pure sales were at 981,000 (P+D), excluding streaming.

Why do i have to make you believe in anything? Receipts are here . I'm not making anything up, why are so bothered?
    http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-new ... ed__17902/

Stop blaming me for its lowered update.

We can't tell who is right and who is not.

The Buzzjack Top 100 Decade chart is done with MusicWeek figures...
No it's not. It's literally estimated by a user on a forum who has same access to sales as we all do.

And it's funny, cause you're always complaining about OCC's articles figures when it comes to other artist... and how they downgrade her figures... and that it's impossible for this or that album to have sold that little through the years...
But now here it's a different story, right?
I'm complaining about old releases when OOC wasn't covering all sales and when they are basing their updates on certifications and YEC sales (especially for pre-1994 releases). There is no reason for them to be wrong when it comes to newer releases.

But funny how you're happy to dismiss OFFICIAL source and you're ready to use estimated sales from a forum

Um it is a lot. 50k in UK is a lot to be overestimated, it's basically enough for silver certification.

Mistake was probably made in that 2014 report since there is no way that album sold 26,000 since November 2013 (960,151) to September 2014 (986,847). TFM sold 15k during same time and it's 2 albums combined , plus it had big hits in UK (unlike BTW) and it's obviously better catalog seller. Maybe they meant 968k, not 986k.

    ^
I’m not using somebody’s estimations... I’m using MusicWeek figures.
Forget about the Decade chart... It’s the 2014-2017 what matters here as it proves how wrong those numbers are.

If BTW official and exact sales were 986,847 in September 2014, they cannot be 981k in Feb. 2017.
    It’s pure logic...

OCC mess figures constantly, giving different totals, giving a lower figure than the one given a few years early and then again the former one on their next article.
So I’ll stick to MusicWeek figures. You can believe what you want.

And yes, you have questioned OCC figures when it comes to different totals many times... not for old releases but for recent ones as well.

No it doesn't prove how those numbers are wrong. 2014 OR 2017 could be wrong, who are you to decide what number is wrong?

It's highly unlikely that album sold 26k since late November 2013 to September 2014 (and you know it, looking at her profile at the time, BTW as catalog seller, and how much TFM sold during same time).

Until the next update we can't tell who was right or wrong.

Please enlighten me, what recent releases? From this decade? Last decade?

Don’t know about you, but I prefer to believe who’s giving me exact figures to the last number to someone who’s giving me rounded numbers and who has a loooooong history of giving wrong and different totals depending on the article.

It’s funny how you question now MusicWeek sales’ figures, that you think it couldn’t sell 26k since its last update and that it wasn’t a good catalog seller... You thought sooo different back in the day...

Great sales for BTW, she's great catalog seller, i hope next year BTW will be over 1,000,000

And now I’m going to ask you to leave it here.

    UK [9/2 chart]

    160 (RE) The Fame

2,973,227 total. Reminding people that the sales of The Fame and The Fame Monster were combined in the UK.

    Thanks for the update, Yoshie!

Last update was 2.94 million, just one year ago, in February 2017. So it sold 33k in the past year.
It will reach 10xPlatinum in 2019.
