Sigma and Sigala have been two of the most frequent visitors to my chart in recent years, often having concurrent hits, but this week for the first time they manage to take my top 2 places, leading the way, Sigma gets a very first no.1 hit with 12th entry, "You And Me As One", while Sigala's latest effort "We Got Love" moves up to no.2 putting them in my top 3 for a ninth time now. Ella Henderson topped my chart twice in 2014 with "Ghost" and "Glow", this now gives her a third top 5 hit too.

Dua Lipa makes a climb to no.6 ahead of two new entries to the top 10, leading the way is Agnes, previously peaking in 2010 when "Sometimes I Forget" made no.23, her latest entry, "Nothing Can Compare" is straight in at no.8 easily giving her a biggest hit to date. Camila Cabello gets her 8th hit and third top 10 as "Living Proof" is new at no.9. She peaked while featured on Major Lazers "Know No Better", a 2017 no.2.

Miranda Lambert and Galantis slide even closer to my top 10, though neither are quite there yet, alongside the third highest new entry, coming from Jessie Reyez at no.15 with "Crazy", it's her second hit and by far biggest so far, following "Body Count" which made no.47 last year. "Crazy" is of course a Patsy Cline original, which also appeared in my chart in 1999 when LeAnn Rimes took it to no.31.

Gang Starr immediately follow up the no.11 hit "Family & Loyalty" with "Bad Name" in at no.32. Also this week, a debut for Paige Cavell, a 12th hit for MK and George Michael enters for the first time in 13 years.

Just a month before the end of 2019 and Sigala become the first act of the year to top my chart twice (following "Wish You Well") with "We Got Love", to give them a 7th chart topper in total and vocalist Ella Henderson her third. Sigala have had a least one no.1 on my chart every year since their 2015 debut. Camila Cabello is also up at no.3 with "Living Proof" to equal her solo peak made with "Never Be The Same", though still a place behind her feature on Major Lazers "Know No Better".

Agnes is up at no.5 while Miranda Lambert gets her first top 10 hit as "Bluebird" moves to no.7.

Galantis slowly move within inches of the top 10, while Jessie Reyez and Robin Schulz are also top 20 climbers, Robin making "Rather be Alone" his 8th top 20 hit.

The weeks highest new entry comes in at no.12 and it's Sheryl Crows first entry as lead artist in 9 years (she featured on Reefs no.44 "My Sweet Love" last year.). Last here with "Summer Day" in 2010, that made no.24, meaning "Tell me When's It's Over" marks her first top 20 appearance since "I Shall Believe" made no.9 back in 2004. Her peak was 2002's "Soak Up The Sun" which made no.3, the highest of 11 top 10 appearances.

It's a 16th hit for Jessie Ware at no.17 with "Mirage (Don't Stop)", her peak came in 2013 when "Imagine It Was Us" topped my chart, though this is her first top 20 hit since "Say You Love Me" made no.4 in 2014.

"Push My Luck" is a 10th hit for The Chainsmokers at no.22 who peaked at no.2 with "Don't Let Me Down" in 2016. Tensnake topped my chart with first entry "Mainline" back in 2012, this week their 6th entry "Rules" is in at no.24.

"Live Before I Die" is also new to the top 30 at no.30, giving Naughty Boy his 9th hit, he peaked with "LaLaLa", a no.3 in 2013 and Mike Posner a 10th hit, other than a chart topping feature with Cher Lloyd and top 10 with Avicii, his solo peak was his 2010 debut, "Cooler Than Me", making no.8.

Also this week, Harry Styles picks up a 5th hit while Westlife get their first entry in 14 years.

The top 2 remain static while Dua Lipa jumps back up to a new peak of no.3 with "Don't Start Now", now her 6th top 5 hit. It's back to back top 10 hits for Gryffin who takes the highest new entry at no.4 with "Need Your Love", following "Baggage" which made no.9 a few weeks back, it is their fourth entry in all. After creeping towards the top 10 for a number of weeks, Galantis now shoot up there at no.6 with "Faith" to score their 7th top 10 hit, while Dolly Parton and Mr Probz both get a second.

Naughty Boy and Mike Posner now both get their 4th top 10 hits as "Live Before I Die" climbs to no.10, while The Chainsmokers climb close behind at no,11. Rod Stewart is in the top 20 or a fourth time, and like his biggest hit, 2017's no.15 remix of Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, it's a new version of an old hit, namely a new orchestral version of "Stay With Me" at no.16. It also gives the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra their second hit, equalling the peak they made in 2017 sprucing up Aretha Franklin's "Angel".

In at no.18, The Weeknd gets his 6th hit with "Blinding Lights", he topped my chart in 2016 with "I Feel It Coming". With 3 top 10 hits, it's been a great year for Zara Larsson, who gets her 11th entry this week with "Invisible" at no.21 while Oh Wonder start the Christmas festivities with their first chart entry "This Christmas" at no.22.

Ally Brooke managed 5 hits on my chart with Fifth Harmony, this week she gets her first solo entry with "No Good", making her the fourth member of the group to have a solo hit on my chart.

Also this week, a third hit for Pete Tong, a 15th for Fuse ODG, Plumbs first hit in 7 years, a 9th hit for Sam Smith, Robbie Williams first hit in 3 years and MistaJam makes a debut.

It was really close for me this week, but in the end Sigala manages to hold on for a third week with "We Got Love". The highest new entry comes in at no.2, by far the most successful 1D member on my chart, Harry Styles and "Adore You", his 6th entry in all, this is the closest he's come to repeating his no.1 debut release, "Sign Of The Times".

Pushing into the top 10, Chainsmokers are now at no.7 with "Push My Luck" scoring them a fourth top 10 in all, while NaughtyBoy also continues to climb at no.9. There's a second top 10 new entry and that's for A Great Big World who's only other entry, "Say Something" was a collaboration with Christina Aguilera, as is the new one, "Fall On Me", in at no.8, just a place below their debut, it's also Christina's first top 10 hit since "Telepathy" made no.9 in 2016.

The Weeknd and Oh Wonder are top 20 climbers, joined with a new entry from Alicia Keys at no.18 with "Time Machine", she has had 6 number ones on my chart, but the last was back in 2007 with "No One", she was last in my top 20 last year when her James Bay duet, "Us" made no.5.

Bastille get their fourth hit this week with this years John Lewis entry, "Just Can't Fight This Feeling" at no.23. They peaked with "Happier", making no.2 last year.

Also this week Franky Wah gets his first hit, giving Jessie Ware her 17th. Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds get their first entry, and Lauryn Hill gets her second entry this year, though her first as lead artist in 6 years.

This week was even closer than last but Sigala just grips onto the top for a fourth week with "We Got Love" leaving Harry Styles just short of getting his second no.1. The Weeknd secures his fourth top 10 hit and third top 5 as "Blinding Lights" moves up to no.3 and A Great Big World get their first top 5 hit as "Fall On Me" moves up to no.5, it's also Christina Aguilera's biggest hit since "Your Body" made no.4 in 2012.

"Time Machine" brings Alicia Keys back into the top 10 at no.7 and the highest new entry is in at no.10, the debut for Shaed, "Trampoline", giving One Direction's Zayn his third hit and biggest so far, his previous peak came with "Pillowtalk" which made no.18.

Coldplay follow up the no.8 "Orphans" with a second charting hit from their latest album, new at no.16, "Trouble In Town", while there's also room for an 11th hit for Sam Sparro as "Everything" is new at no.20, he topped my chart with "Black & Gold" in 2008 and on Basement Jaxx's "Feelings Gone" in 2009, he last appeared in 2017 when "Back To The Rhythm" made no.32.

Raye gets her 7th hit this week, though her three biggest are all her features, peaking on David Guetta's "Stay", a no.8, "Please Don't Touch" is new at no.22 and as a lead artist is only outpeaked so far by "Decline" which made no.20.

Stereophonics topped my chart in 2005 with "Dakota" and were last here in 2015 when "Song For The Summer" made no.26, now "Don't Let The Devil Take Another Day" enters at no.23.

Also this week, a 12th hit for Dua Lipa, Horse Meat Disco make their debut, a 14th hit for Example, a 6th for R3hab, a 10th for Taylor Swift and a first for Ladyhawke.

So Sigala holds onto the top for Christmas week in it's 5th week there for "We Got Love", topping off a static top 3. The highest new entry comes just behind and it's a first chart entry for Crystal Fighters and a second for Dagny, following her feature on last years no.2 hit "Drink About" for SeeB. Oh Wonder climb to no.6 with the highest of this years festive releases, "This Christmas" and OG3NE get their third hit with "Straight To You" at no.10. They topped my chart in 2017 with "Lights And Shadows"

Gryffin are on a bit of a roll at the minute, their third hit from their latest album is "Body Back" and enters at no.11, not quite yet a third consecutive top 10 hit, but it's their 5th hit in all. Also Pentatonix finally get their first entry at no.12 with a new version of "Do You Hear What I Hear?" it features Whitney Houston to give her a second top 20 hit this year following the no.17 peaking "Higher Love". Whitney's previous version of this song was a no.10 hit on my chart, while it's also given Mary Blige a no.1 and Jordin Sparks a no.17 hit with their versions.

Raye climbs to no.20 with "Please Don't Touch" to equal the peak she made with "Decline".

Ciara gets her third hit this year at no.27 with "Melanin", she had 5 no.1s between 2005-2015. Straight on the heels of chart-topper "You And Me As One", Sigma gets a 13th hit with "Sell My Soul" at no.28, giving featured vocalist, Maverick Sabre his 5th hit (his 3 biggest have all been as featured artist)

A week after getting her 10th hit, "Beautiful Ghosts", Taylor Swift returns with hit no.11, "Christmas Tree Farm" at no.37. Her peak is still with 2009 debut "Love Story (Digital Dog Radio Edit)", her only top 10 hit making no.6.

Sunshine Anderson topped my chart twice with "Lunch Or Dinner?" and "Heard It All Before", now her first hit in 12 years is a remix of her last, "Problems (Good Fellas Remix)" in at no.41.

"Running Back To You" was the last appearance for Elton John back in 2017, making no.36, now a new version of "(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again" starts at no.44, giving Purple Disco Machine their 5th chart entry.
