So after just a week on top, 2 newcomers push Don Diablo down to no.3, RuthAnne is up at no.1 with her first hit, "Liquid", while Ruby Francis is right behind, now at no.2 with "All Of The Time". Silk City move up to no.5, giving Dua Lipa a 5th top 5 hit in the process and Motorcyle climb up a space to no.9, now beating the no.10 peak of the original version of "As The Rush Comes" from 2004.

Marshmello/Bastille and Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper climb now at no.11 and no.13, while the former no.40 hit, "Complicated" for Mura Masa and Nao is back at no.15 giving Mura Masa a 4th top 20 hit and Nao a first. After sliding previously, Ariana Grande and Kelli-Leigh are both on the way back up, now with new peaks at no.16 and no.17.

No.21 is the weeks highest new entry and that's "Hosanna" for newcomer Dan Caplen. It's his third hit of the year, following his no.10 feature on Rudimental's "These Days" and his no.7 hit of his own, "Two Fingers".


Jessie Ware's debut album scored the no.1 hit "Imagine It Was Us" back in 2013, her second album included the no.4 hit "Say You Love Me" in 2014, but third album could only reach a peak of no.32 with "Alone", she returns this week with a 14th hit in all, "Overtime", new at no.25, it's her highest position in 4 years.

"Lie To Me" was the first song from this years Eurovision entries to make my chart, peaking at no.17 for Czech Republics Mikolas Josef. This week he follows that with a no.28 hit, "Me Gusta".

Finally this week there are debuts for Poppy and Ella Mai, new at no.32 and no.38, will they manage to follow this weeks top 2 in the coming weeks?

It's a fourth different number one in 4 weeks as Ruby Francis takes the top with "All Of The Time", the newcomer swaps places with RuthAnne's debut, "Liquid" at no.2. Nile Rodgers and Lady GaGa move up to no.3 with "I Want Your Love", it's Gaga's first time in my top 3 since "Til It Happens To You" made no.2 in 2015.

Marshmello and Bastille have had no success in my chart previously, but things are looking up this time as "Happier" moves into my top 10 as high as no.4. "Breathin" finally joins the other 3 hits from Ariana Grande's latest album in making the top 10, now at no.6 in its 7th week on my chart, it follows chart topper "God Is A Woman", no.6 hit "The Light Is Coming" and "No Tears Left To Cry" which made no.7.

Also in my top 10, Mura Masa is in my top 10 for a third time as "Complicated" is now at no.9, it follows 2 hits from 2016, "What If I Go?" (no.5) and "Love $ick" (no.6).

As Calvin Harris and Dan Caplen both move into my top 20, they are joined by the weeks highest new entry which comes from unlikely band, Weezer. "Can't Knock The Hustle" enters at no.19, their first hit since "Pork And Beans" made no.38 a whole decade ago, and is by far their highest position so far.

Rod Stewart continues to have success in my chart, with 3 top 20 hits over the last 3 years, peaking with "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" which made no.15 with DNCE last year. "Look In Her Eyes" is his first entry since then and makes its debut at no.22.

Christine And The Queens follow up no.37 "Girlfriend" and no.32 "Tilted", with their biggest hit to date, "5 Dollars", new at no.24. Freya Ridings is just behind making her debut at no.27 and Sia gets her first lead artist entry since "Candy Cane Lane" made no.18 last Christmas as "I'm Still Here" enters at no.29

Also this week, Wilkinson is back with his 10th charting hit, Razorlight appear for the first time in well over a decade and Deva Mahal makes her debut..

It's a 6th no.1 for Lady Gaga this week with "Shallow", her first since "Applause" got there back in 2013. She has 3 of my top 5 this week, including the weeks highest new entry and her 42nd hit "I'll Never Love Again" which opens at no.5. Elsewhere in the top 5, Marshmello and Bastille continue to improve, now up to no.2.

In 2007, Mason topped my chart with "Perfect Exceeder", and last year was back in my top 5 with "Rhino", this week he's back again with "Dance, Move, Shake" at no.12.

Dan Caplen and Weezer both move closer to my top 10, but just missing out the weeks top 20 is Major Lazers 22nd hit "Blow That Smoke", at no.21, it also gives Tove Lo her 9th appearance.

New at no.23 this week is "You Come First", a 4th and biggest hit to date for Zak Abel who appeared at no.27 in 2014 on Gorgon City's "Unmissable"

"So Real (Warriors)" is a debut for Too Many Zooz at no.25, which also gives KDA a second hit and Jess Glynne her 14th. "Dished (Male Stripper)" is a third hit for Purple Disco Machine at no.26, they peaked with "Counting on Me", a no.23 in 2016.

The 1975 get their 11th hit at no.29 with "It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)", they peaked in 2016 when "She's American" made no.13. Zara Larssons biggest hit was also in 2016 when "Symphony" made no.2, her 8th hit "Ruin My Life" enters at no.30.

"Blue Skies" is a 4th hit for Blinkie at no.34, their peak was "Don't Give Up On Love", making no.16 in 2015. There's also a 4th hit for Vicetone and 6th hit for Alessia Cara.

A week after getting her 6th no.1, Lady Gaga is back again with a 7th, as "I'll Never Love Again" moves up to the top spot. The Fame Monster is still the album with most number ones at 3, while "A Star Is Born" now has 2, Artpop and Born This Way both have one each. She also takes the weeks highest entry as the soundtracks third track, "Always Remember Us This Way" is in at no.15.

Major Lazer are in my top 5 for the 9th time as "Blow That Smoke" rockets up to no.4, bringing along Tove Lo who now has a third top 10 hit, following "Stay High (Habits)" (no.2) and "Disco Tits" (no.6). Dan Caplen is now in my top 10 for the third time out of 3 as "Hosanna" moves up to no.8, it follows "Two Fingers" which made no.7 earlier this year and his feature on Rudimental's no.10 hit "These Days". And it's a fourth top 10 hit for Mason who move up to no.10 with "Dance, Move, Shake".

As Weezer moves up my top 20, Zara Larsson and Wilkinson both climb into it giving them both a fourth top 20 appearance each.

Weiss just made no.44 a few weeks back with "Feel My Needs (Turn Around)", but it re-enters at no.21 this week. Xxxtentacion and Lil Pump are some big names in the mumble rap genre, but neither have charted here until now, as their collaboration "Arms Around You" enters at no.25, also giving a third entry for Swae Lee and a fifth for Maluma.

Snow Patrol finally get their 11th entry this week, their peak came in 2004 when "Spitting Games" made no.12 and 2006 when "You're All I Have" did the same. They are nearly ten years short of a hit, last appearing in 2009 when "Just Say Yes (Thin White Duke Remix)" made no.24. Now "What If This Is All The Love You Ever Get? (Mike Crossey Mix)" enters at no.27.

Little Mix only made no.48 with "Only You" earlier this year, they now follow it up with "Woman Like Me" at no.31 to give them a 21st entry. "How ya Doin?" (2013), "Black Magic" (2015) and "Reggaeton Lento" (2017) gave them their three number ones. This one features Nicki Minaj who picks up a 56th entry in total.

Just behind at no.32 is a 9th hit for Oliver Heldens who peak came with the no.6 "Shades Of Grey" in 2015. French Montana may have been on 4 number one hits since 2017 and 11 entries in total since 2014, but he gets only a third entry as lead artist today as "No Stylist" is new at no.45, also giving Drake a 15th entry, more than half of which were also features.

After Lady Gaga took my top 2 spots last week, it's all change this week as Ariana Grande takes no.1 and no.2. "Thank U Next" takes its debut at the top, it's in fact the first song to debut on top of my chart since "God Is A Woman" back in July, Grande's first no.1, which went on to spend 8 weeks there. "Thank U Next" is her 15th charting hit in all, and thanks to "Breathin" climbing to a new peak of no.2, it's her 5th top 5.

"Blow That Smoke", meanwhile moves up to no.3 for Major Lazer to give them a 9th top 3 hit and 2nd for featured vocalist, Tove Lo. Dan Caplen moves up to no.6 with "Hosanna", now outpeaking his no.7 hit "Two Fingers" from earlier this year, Zara Larsson gains a fourth top 10 hit as "Ruin My Life" moves up to no.7 and Xxxtentacion and Lil Pump get their first as "Arms Around You" moves up to no.10.

Snow Patrol had their first hit in nearly a decade last week, "What If This Is All The Love You Ever Get" now gives them their highest peak to date as it rockets up to no.11.

Anderson Paak's "Malibu" album provided 2 top 50 hits, though neither went top 40, he's also featured on hits for Snakehips and Mac Miller, but his 5th entry gives him a new peak as "Tints" starts at no.13, also giving Kendrick Lamar his 12th appearance.

Another big climber this week is Oliver Heldens who now has his biggest hit in a couple of years as "Fire In my Soul" is now no.14, just ahead of Clean Bandit, "Baby" is their 16th hit, making its debut at no.17, the 6th release from their upcoming album, "What Is Love?", it outpeaks all but "Symphony", which still holds their peak position of no.2. It features Marina And the Diamonds and Luis Fonsi who get their 10th and 4th entry respectively.

The top 30 is filled with debuts, Gershon Jackson at no.22, Zhavia at no.25 and Icarus at no.26. While another newcomer, Lorine Chia is new at no.40.

Last year Sia's Christmas album "Everyday Is Christmas" provided chart entries with "Candy Cane Lane" (no.18) and "Santa's Coming For Us" (no.26). A deluxe edition has been released and starts this years festive offerings as "Round And Round" debuts at no.33.

This is last weeks chart though I'm a bit behind.

Ariana holds on to the top for a second week with "Thank U, Next". Just behind at no.2, following the likes of Tom Odell and James Bay, it's Snow Patrol continuing a run of top 5 hits for adult pop ballads, "What If This.." gives them a very first top 10 hit as it climbs to no.2. Zara Larsson is in my top 5 for a third time, though only her Clean Bandit collaboration, "Symphony" went higher at no.2, "Ruin My Life" is now no.3.

Hip Hop tracks are climbing in my top 10 for Xxxtentacion at no.6 and Anderson Paak at no.10. "Tints" may be Anderson Paak's first time in my top 10 but it brings Kendrick Lamar his 4th top 10 hit, he had his first no.1 earlier this year featuring on NERDS "Don't Don't Do it".

The weeks highest new entry comes at no.8, a second hit for CNCO, they topped my chart last year with "Reggaeton Lento", now follow it up with "Hey DJ" at no.8, the remixed track now features Meghan Trainor and Sean Paul. Meghan is in my top 10 for a fourth time, Sean Paul, a 29th.

Oliver Heldens is close to getting a fourth top 10 hit, but in the meantime climbs to no.11 with "Fire In My Soul". Just behind at no.12, Alan Walker gets a 5th entry with "Diamond Heart", now his highest peak. He previously peaked with 2016's "Faded" which made no.24.

Lil Kim topped my chart on 2001's "Lady Marmalade" and then on 2003's "The Jump Off". In more recent years she's had less success, last appearing in 2016 featured on Puff Daddy's no.29 "Auction", while her last hit as least artist was in 2012 when "If You Love Me" made no.21. This week she gets her biggest hit since 2010's no.2 "Black Friday", as "Nasty One Remix" enters at no.17, also bringing Stefflon Don her 7th hit.

Loren Allred topped my chart earlier this year with "Never Enough", now Kelly Clarkson covers the track and brings it in at no.18, her biggest hit since "It's Quiet Uptown" made no.15 in 2016.

Charli XCX gets her 9th hit this week with "1999" at no.21, she topped my chart on debut featured on Icona Pop's "I Love it" in 2013, though so far her only top 20 hit as lead artist came in 2013 when "SuperLove" made no.14. The song also gives Troye Sivan a third hit, following two no.12's, 2015 Zedd collaboration, "Papercut" and "Bloom" from earlier this year.

Ruth B makes her debut with "Rare" at no.26, while Tom Odell gets his 5th with "If You're Gonna Break My Heart", the third hit from his latest album, "Jubilee Road".

Rufus Du Sol made no.41 in 2014 with "Sundream" and now follows it with "Treat You Better", new at no.34 and Fickle Friends get a third hit with "San Francisco" at no.38, their peak was with "Hard To Be Myself", making no.31 last year. Also this week a second hit from The Prodigy's new album.

After two weeks on top, Ariana Grande is down to no.4 and so creates a vacuum in my top 3. Climbing 9 spots to the top, Anderson Paak gets his first chart topper with "Tints". Previously he peaked on Mac Millers "Dang" which made no.19 last year. Featured artist Kendrick Lamar makes this his second no.1 of the year following his feature on NERD's "Dont Dont Do It".

No.2 is now Zara Larsson's "Ruin My Life" which now equals the peak she made with Clean Bandit on last years "Symphony". The top 3 is complete by the weeks highest new entry and it's a first ever chart appearance for Shawn Mendes, who thanks to a remix is new at no.3 with "In My Blood".

CNCO are moving towards my top 5 and Alan Walker gets his first top 10 hit, while no.10 is an 11th hit for Le Youth, "Stay" continues the trend for 100% strike rate in my top 10 for Le Youth. The new one features vocals from Karen Harding who makes her 12th appearance though very first in my top 10, now outpeaking her own song "Runaway" which made no.13 earlier this year.

Last weeks new entries are all moving up in my top 20, with Charli XCX now getting her third top 20 hit with "1999" at no.15, just ahead of Lil Kim and Kelly Clarkson who are now no.16 and no.17. Also now in my top 20 is Icarus who are now no.19.

Le Youth gave Ava Max a good head start on my chart when she featured on their no.1, "Clap Your Hands" last year, she now follows it with her first solo hit, "Sweet But Psycho" new at no.29.

Boyband, Why Don't We make their debut with "8 Letters" at no.33 and 80s icon, Kim Wilde also gets her first entry at no.37. "New wave" is a 5th hit for Brookes Brothers at no.34, following on from their no.2 "Every Minute".

And "Taki Taki" makes its debut at no.40, a 4th hit for DJ Snake, 5th for Selena Gomez, 2nd for Ozuna and 6th for Cardi B.

It also gives Selena Gomez her first no.1 who previously peaked earlier this year when "Back To You" made no.14, Ozuna's only other chart entry, "Escapate Conmigo" made no.17 last year and it's Cardi B's second feature on top following being on "Dinero" by Jennifer Lopez earlier this year.

Her latest autobiographical offering, "Kelly" starts at no.6, other than a couple of features, it's her first chart entry as least artist since "Gone" made no.26 in 2013 and first top 10 hit since "Lay It On Me" made no.4 in 2011.

This weeks chart is topped for a second week by "Taki Taki" by DJ Snake, while Zara Larsson is in runner up position for a third week in a row. Producer Mark Ronson topped my chart three times, firstly with his remix of Jay-Z's "99 Problems" with sister, Samantha in 2004, then with "Stop Me" in 2007 and finally with "Bang Bang Bang" in 2010. He gets his biggest hit since then this week with "Nothing Breaks Like A Heart" at no.3. His last album in 2014 did provide 2 top 10 hits with "Feels Right" (no.6) and "Uptown Funk" (no.5). The new one features Miley Cyrus and gives her a 10th appearance, and biggest since "Adore You (Cedric Gervais Remix)" went to no.2 in 2014. She topped my chart in 2009 with "Party In The USA".

Also new to the top 5, Jax Jones gets an 8th hit with "Play" at no.5. He went higher with "Go Deep" (no.4) and "I Got U" (no.1), but it's an impressive 4th top 10 hit from his upcoming album, and highest charting to date, following "Breathe" (no.6), "Instruction" (no.8) and "You Don't Know Me" (no.9), along with "Ring Ring" which could only make no.22. The new one features Years & Years and gives them an 11th hit, 6 of which have now gone top 10.

Rudimental provides a third new entry to the top 10 this week with "Walk Alone" at no.7, it's their 10th hit in all and the third top 10 hit from their latest album, which includes an earlier no.1 from this year, "Let Me Live".

Somehow there's also space for 2 climbers in the top 10 too, with Oliver Heldens slowly pushing up at no.9 and Lil' Kim getting her first top 10 hit since "Black Friday" made no.2 in 2010, "Nasty One Remix" is now no.10 and also gives Stefflon Don her 4th top 10 hit.

James Bay finally got his first hit a few weeks back when "Just For Tonight" made no.5, he now follows it with "Us" at no.26, a duet with Alicia Keys, she's topped my chart 6 times but this is her first appearance since "Blended Family" made no.7 in 2016.


Also this week, a second hit for Anitta at no.32 with "Medicina" and Inna gets her 31st hit with "Iguana" at no.37.

"Taki Taki" holds on top a third week, emulating what the similar, "Particula" by Major Lazer did this time last year. It keeps the weeks highest new entry off the top and that's a third hit for Bibi Bourelly who's previous hits both made no.9, "Sally" in 2016 and a feature on Nick Brewer's "Talk To Me" in 2015. The new one, "White House" enters straight at no.2.

Jax Jones moves up to no.3 with "Play", only "I Got U" went better, topping my chart in 2013. It is the third time Years & Years have made no.3, only "Meteorite" going better, topping my chart in 2016. Rudimental and Lil' Kim climb a place to new peaks of no.6 and no.9, while boyband, Why Don't We join the top 10 now at no.10.

Fickle Friends and Ruth B both climb into my top 20 for the first time, now at no.13 and no.17 and duo Ward Thomas get their 5th and biggest hit to date as "No Filter" is new at no.16, outpeaking their previous hit "I Believe in You" by just a place.

Martin Garrix gets his 9th hit with "Burn Out" at no.26, he's only gone higher once when "Together" reached no.22 in 2016 and "We Are The Light" is a first chart entry for Markus Schulz at no.30.

Mousse T had a run of hits in the late 90s and early 00s, peaking at no.3 with "Sex Bomb" in 2000, he last appeared in 2009 when "All Night Long" made no.35, now nearly a decade later he's back with "Melodie", new at no.32, it has been remixed by Tensnake to give them a fifth hit in all. Kali Uchis gets her first hit at no.35 while Little Simz gets a third at no.36.

Also this week Pink gets the second hit from the Greatest Showman Reimagined project, Jack Wins makes a debut, and Fatboy Slim brings back "Praise You", a 1999 no.22 hit, with a new Purple Disco Machine remix at no.44.

Last year my Christmas chart saw Major Lazer hold on for a second week with "Particula", the year before it was Jennifer Hudson's "I Know Where I've Been", previous to that, Coldplays "Everglow", Inna's "Body & The Sun" and Sub Focus "Turn Back Time". This year it's DJ Snake holding onto the top with "Taki Taki", his second number one is now just a week away from equalling the weeks spent on top by his previous chart topper "Lean On" in 2015.

The weeks second biggest hit comes from Jax Jones who creeps up to no.2 with "Play", while "Walk Alone" moves up to no.5 to give Rudimental their 5th top 5 hit. Newcomers Fickle Friends and Why Don't We continue to climb at no.6 and no.8, while Ward Thomas are in my top 10 for the first time as "No Filter" is now no.9.

James Bay and Ruth B both climb inside my top 20 heading towards the top 10, they are joined by the weeks highest new entry at no.15. Since 2009, Pitbull has scored a top 20 hit as lead artist every single year, until 2018 where it was looking like the first time he'd miss out, however he scrapes in with a week to spare as "Ocean To Ocean" starts at no.15, it is just his third appearance of the year after featuring on minor hits for Enrique Iglesias and Claudia Leitte earlier in the year, while it's his first entry as lead artist since "Muevelo Loca Boom Boom" made no.16 last year.

Nate Dogg had a minor top 40 hit on my chart in 2001 with "I Got Love", the song is reimagined by Don Diablo this week, entering at no.17 to give Diablo his 7th hit, it follows his first chart topper "Survive" a few weeks back.

After a few years absence from my chart, Mousse T returned last week with "Melodie" at no.32, his second hit in as many weeks is "Boyfriend" and enters at no.22.

Avril Lavigne topped my chart in 2004 with "Nobodys Home" and in 2011 with "What The Hell", this week she gets her 23rd hit with "Tell Me It's Over" at no.25, her first entry since "Here's To Never Growing Up" made no.27 in 2013.

MJ Cole had a no.1 in 2000 with "Hold On To Me", in recent years he's gone as high as no.6 with "Undo" last year, now returns with "Waking Up" at no.35, also giving Freya Ridings her second entry.

The year ends with DJ Snake holding on to the top with "Taki Taki" for a 5th week, while the only track new to the top 5 comes from Fickle Friends who move up to no.5 now with "San Francisco". Ward Thomas are also moving up with "No Filter", now at no.7.

The weeks highest new entry comes from Guy Sebastian who had a minor hit in 2003 with "Angels Brought Me Here", in 2010 he finally returned to my chart with "Who's That Girl?" making no.8, now in 2018 he finally gets a third hit, as "Before I Go" also enters at no.8.

Robin Schulz previous 6 charting hits have all made my top 10, with "Headlights" peaking at no.2 in 2015. Latest release "Speechless" starts life at no.17, but there's still time to climb yet.

Camila Cabello has had 5 charting hits, peaking at no.2 on Major Lazers "Know No Better", now the second member of Fifth Harmony to chart is Lauren Jauregui, she starts at no.26 with "Expectations". The group had 5 hits in total with "That's My Girl" peaking at no.2 in 2016.

Since remixing Mike Posners "I Took A Pill In Ibiza" in 2015, SeeB has scored 11 hits on my chart, including 3 number ones and 5 more top 10 hits. They return quietly this week with "Grip", starting at no.33, in so giving Bastille their third hit too.

"Rewrite The Stars" is a 3rd hit for James Arthur, who peaked in 2016 when "Say You Won't Let Go" made no.22 and a 9th hit for Anne-Marie who topped my chart with Rudimental on "Let Me Live" earlier this year. The song comes from The Greatest Showman soundtrack and made no.3 for Zac Efron & Zendaya earlier this year, now it enters at no.35.

The year starts as the last finished with DJ Snake holding on with "Taki Taki" for the 6th week. Guy Sebastian makes the biggest challenge now getting his biggest hit to date as "Before I Go" moves up to no.2 and Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus regain their no.3 peak with "Nothing Breaks Like A Heart".

There's not much new this week, just 3 songs making their debut in all, but there are some climbers, including Robin Schulz who's moving closer to getting his 7th top 10 hit with "Speechless", now up to no.12.

The highest new entry comes from Nile Rodgers and Chic, who get their fourth entry from the album "It's About Time", with "Dance With Me" at no.23, also giving vocalist Hailee Steinfeld her 7th hit.

The biggest climber of the week is Kali Uchis who has been lingering around the bottom end of my chart a few weeks, now she moves up 20 places no.24 with "Just A Stranger".

Zibbz make no.32 on my chart when they represented Switzerland with "Stones" at Eurovision last year, they follow it up with "Undun" at no.41 and finally it's a 5th entry for Chloe Howl at no.44 with "23", she peaked in 2013 when "No Strings" made no.3.

It's still a rather quiet week as usual as we go into 2019, although DJ Snake is ousted from the top after 6 weeks as "Taki Taki" moves to no.2, giving Fleur East her first no.1 and 6th hit in all with the weeks highest new entry, "Favourite Thing". She previously peaked with "Breakfast" which made no.4 in 2015.

A steady top 10 sees Mark Ronson in the top 5 for a 6th week and Bebe Bourelly for a 5th, while Jax Jones and Rudimental both spend their 6th week in my top 10, Zara Larsson is there for a 10th week. There is however room for a further newcomer to the top 10 as James Bay and Alicia Keys climb to no.8 on their 6th week, giving James Bay his second top 10 hit and Alicia Keys a 29th.

Meanwhile Robin Schulz is close to continuing his 100% top 10 record as "Speechless" moves up to no.11, while Adelphi Music Factory and Kali Uchis both move into the top 20 with their debut hits.

Chris Brown has had a multitude of hits on my chart over the years, including chart toppers with "Forever" in 2008 and "Don't Think They Know" in 2013. His last album, however failed to score a single hit, though last year he featured on hits for Ella Mai, Lil Dicky and Remy Ma, he hasn't had a hit as lead artist since "Zero" made no.38 in 2015. This week he scores his biggest hit in 5 years as "Undecided" enters at no.22.
Despite not quite making top 40, Lorine Chia had 3 weeks on my chart last month with "Drugs", now the Christmas rush is out the way it returns at no.28.

Shy FX scored 2 chart toppers in 2002, he was last in the chart in 2017 when "Chocolate" made no.12, the new one, "Roll The Dice" is new at no.42 and features Stamina MC who had hits in the early 00s and hasn't been since since, and Lily Allen. Also Sea Girls get their debut and Zayn finally gets his second hit.

While Fleur East holds on top for a second week, Guy Sebasian and Mark Ronson both return to their peaks at no.2 and no.3, James Bay now gets his second top 5 hit as "Us" finally equals the no.5 peak of "Just For Tonight", also giving Alicia Keys her highest position since "We Are Here" also made no.5 in 2014.

Last year Dolly Parton scored her first ever charting hit when "Here I Am" made no.38, now a new Dumplin' Remix of her classic hit, "Jolene" is straight in at no.8, the song previously gave Ray Lamontagne and White Stripes minor hits here.

Calvin Harris has topped my chart 6 times, these days, despite most of his singles making my top 50, they aren't all huge hits, with 2018 releases "No Promises" making no.18, "Nuh Ready Nuh Ready" making no.36 and "No Lie" making no.3. His latest release "Giant" is new at no.15 and gives RagNBoneMan his second hit following "As You Are (Shy FX Remix)" which made no.42 in 2017.

Coldplay have topped my chart 3 times, with "Violet Hill" in 2008 and both "Everglow" and "Adventure Of A Lifetime" in 2015, last appearing when "Miracles" made no.48 in 2017. They now return under the alias Los Unidades and get their first hit with "E-Lo" at no.18.

Lizzo made no.18 last year with "Boys", her second entry, "Juice" is new at no.30. Former Eurovision acts Timebelle and Sunstroke Project team up this week with "Tocame" new at no.33, giving Timebelle their first hit and Sunstroke Project a third.

"Sea Blue" is the first hit for Bloxx at no.36 and Joe Stone gets his 6th entry with "Loaded Gun" at no.37. There's also a fourth hit for Alice Merton at no.44.

This week sees Fleur East continue her reign at the top for a third week with “Favourite Things” in a static top 3. They are joined by an unlikely highest new entry at no.4, in the fifth entry for rapper, Tyga, his previous highest came as a feature on Danity Kane’s “Lemonade” which made no.21 in 2014 while his other entries, “Molly”, “Temperature” and “Move To LA” have gone in at no.25, 24 and 24. “Floss In The Banks” shattering all those as it makes its debut.

“Giant” is the latest top 10 hit for Calvin Harris who now shoots up to no.6 to get a 21st top 10 hit in all and first for RagNBoneMan.

With 9 number one hits between them, James Morrison and Joss Stone collaborate this week for a no.10 entry with “My Love Goes On”. It’s the first entry for Morrison since “Need You Tonight” made no.6 in 2016 while Joss, who was on a real streak of hits up to and including 2012, gets her first top 10 entry since then.

Between 2003-2005, Michelle Lawson scored 4 number one hits on my chart and now enters for the first time in well over a decade as “Looking For Love” starts at no.15.

Maren Morris made no.8 last year with “Rich” and now follows it up with a second hit, “Girl”, new at no.19 and she is joined by Lizzo who gets her second top 20 hit as “Juice” moves up to no.20.

Zeds Dead’s only previous chart entry came in 2013 when he remixed Marina & The Diamonds “Lies” to make no.15, he returns with “Lift You Up”, new at no.23.

Mabel’s peak came in 2016 when “Thinking Of You” reached no.7, since then she hasn’t been back in my top 20 but “Don’t Call Me Up”, her 6th entry, looks strange as it enters at no.24.

Why Don’t We get their second hit as “Big Plans” enters at no.27, and India Arie is new at no.30 with “What If”, her 18th hit, though lowest peaking to date, she last appeared in 2013 when “6th Avenue” made no.11.

Also this week a second hit for Jack & Jack, a 6th for Anton Powers, third for Redondo and third for Jade Bird.

After 4 weeks inside my top 3, Guy Sebastian moves up to get his first chart topper with "Before I Go". Meanwhile Calvin Harris moves up to no.2 with "Giant" to get his biggest hit since he topped my chart with "Slide" in 2017.

The weeks highest new entry comes from Dillon Francis, with his third single, "Catchy Song", in at no.6, he previously peaked in 2017 remixing Halsey's "Bad At Love" to make no.22, his new one returns T-Pain for his first appearance in 8 years.

James Morrison and Joss Stone move up to no.7 and Loic Nottet gets a 5th hit with "On Fire" at no.9, his fourth top 10 hit, he topped my chart with "Million Eyes" in 2016.

JoJo has been re-releasing her music on streaming sites with new vocals, "The High Road" is the first to chart here making no.11, it's her biggest hit since "When Love Hurts" made no.4 in 2015. Though she had 3 chart toppers between 2004-2007.

Chloe Howl scores a sixth hit with her version of The Weeknds "Call Out My Name" at no.16, it's her second top 20 hit and first since "No Strings" made no.3 way back in 2013.

Ruth B failed to chart at all here from her first album, but she's doing much better second time around as "Slow Fade" enters at no.19 to follow "Rare" which made no.14 last year. "Never Let You Go" is a first hit for Slushii to round off the top 20 at no.20, it features Sofia Reyes who scores her third hit, peaking with her own, "1,2,3", making no.14 last year.

"White Lies" is a fourth hit for M-22, new at no.27. He peaked with "First Time", making no.2 last year. It features A*M*E who marks her 10th top 50 hit.

Also this week, a third hit for both Maverick Sabre and Chronixx and 10th for Oliver Heldens.

OK I think I've got at least a basic format sorted now before I fiddle about with trying to make it look more fancy

The week starts with Guy Sebastian holding onto the top with "Before I Go" for a second week, while Calvin Harris stays behind at no.2 with "Giant". The weeks highest new entry is the years first Eurovision entry, and like last year it's the Czech Republic that kicks things of first, Lake Malawi is straight in at no.3 with "Friend Of A Friend", last year broke my record when 29 Eurovision songs entered my top 50 across the season, it remains to be seen whether that can be beaten once more.

Dillon Francis moves up to no.4 with "Catchy Song" from the new Lego movie and JoJo gets her first top 10 hit in 4 years as her new version of "The High Road" moves up to no.9.

Los Unidades, Maren Morris and Slushii all move towards my top 10, but have to settle with top 15 for now and Clara Mae makes her debut with a version of "Call Your Girlfriend" at no.16, the song made no.46 for Robyn back in 2011.

Previously Soca artist, Machel Montano featured on top 10 hits for Destra ("Carnival" no.3, 2003) and Major Lazer ("Sound Bang" no.10, 2014), but this week he gets his first hit as lead artist as "The Road" enters at no.18, featuring 5 time chart topper Ashanti for a first appearance in 4 years.

Rudimentals 11th hit, "They Don't Care About Us" enters at no.21, giving their latest album its 5th entry, more than their previous 2 albums put together. It also gives Maverick Sabre a fourth hit and equals his peak.

Mousse T spent 4 weeks on my chart with "Melodie" towards the end of last year, peaking at no.32, it re-enters at no.22 this week. Galantis have done consistently well on my chart with 14 hits in less than 4 years, "Bones" starts at no.23, also giving OneRepublic their 10th hit.


Eurovision winner, Netta made no.2 last year with "Toy" and follows it with "Bassa Sababa" at no.28, Joe Stone gets a 7th hit with "Bug A Boo" at no.31, a song which topped my chart for Destinys Child 20 years ago. Snakehips get a 6th hit, also providing Kyle his fourth hit and Rivers Cuomo a first.

Sheppard get a 7th hit, Dean Lewis a first, Toddla T a 7th, Alicai Harley a second, Ward Thomas a 6th, Saara Aalto a second and Gabrielle Aplin a 4th.

Still waiting for the first real big batch of new releases in 2019, the top 2 this week have both been around since before Christmas, with Fickle Friends finally going to the top in it's 14th week on my chart, it was out my top 10 a few weeks back but after a slow rise back up, "San Francisco", their third chart entry gives them a first no.1.

Another song around a little while and taking a new leap is "What If" for India Arie at no.3, it's her 5th top 3 hit, though she has never been to no.1, she reached no.2 with both "Video" and "Brown Skin" in 2001 and "Purify Me" in 2005. "What If" is now her first top 10 hit since "Pearls" made no.9 a decade ago.

Black Saint lead the new entries this week as "Everybody Wants You" makes its debut at no.6 while another debut act, Mahmood is new at no.8, already giving us a second top 10 hit from this years Eurovision list, it marks a fourth charting entry for Italy (the last 4 in a row), the country which topped my chart with "Occidentalis Karma" in 2017 and made no.10 with "No Degree Of Seperation" in 2016.

Chris Malinchak topped my chart in 2013 with "So Good To Me", and has yet to return to my top 10, though his 6th charting entry, "Wash My Soul" puts stop to that, entering at no.9. Maren Morris follows last years no.8 hit "Rich" by now climbing to no.10 with "Girl".

Clara Mae, Slushii, Mousse T and Rudimental are all on the rise in my top 20, but the next new entry comes at no.25 for rapper, Big Boi, "Doin It" is his third entry as lead artist, and highest peaking so far, outpeaking "All Night" which made no.35 last year, his group Outkast peaked in 2002 when "The Whole World" made no.2.

Above & Beyond topped my chart in 2011 with "Thing Called Love", and despite still regularly putting new material out, have failed to chart since, until today when "Flying By Candlelight" enters at no.27.

Walk The Moon made no.5 in 2015 with "Shut Up And Dance", their 5th hit, "Timebomb", like all of their other entries misses my top 30, going in at no.31.

Matrix & Futurebound get their 8th entry this week, half of which went top 10 with "Fire" in 2016 and "Magnetic Eyes"in 2012 both making no.3, "Got You There" starts at no.33, so far their lowest peak.

Chvrches are another act with a handful of chart entries, all going low bar one, "Get Out" made no.7 last year, "Graffiti" now gives them an 8th entry and ranks as their joint third biggest so far, entering at no.38, the only other to go higher was debut, "The Mother We Share" which made no.35 in 2013.

Also this week, Mike Posner gets an 8th entry, Ariana Grande gets a 16th hit and Dean Lewis makes his debut.

I'm late with last weeks chart, will probably post this weeks tomorrow, but it's lead by Italy's Mahmood becoming the years first Eurovision chart topper, two years after Francesco Gabbani did it for Italy with "Occidentali's Karma", it's followed by India Arie who manages a fourth no.2 hit and first in 14 years with "What If" and Chris Malinchak is now no.3 with "Wash Out My Soul", will it go as far as 2013 chart topper "So good To Me"?

The weeks highest new entry is in at no.5 and it is a 12th entry for Years & Years with "Valentino", it's hot on the heels of last years no.2 "Play" and no.3 "If You're Over Me", it also marks a 9th entry for MNEK, both acts have had a no.1 each previously with "Meteorite" and "Every Little Word". Also in the top 10, Maren Morris moves up to no.8 with "Girl" to match her previous peak made with "Rich".

Marina & The Diamonds has had 12 charting hits so far including 2010's no.2 "Shampain" and no.3's "Oh No" (2010) and "Froot" (2014). Now just under Marina, "Handmade Heaven" starts at no.12.

CNCO made no.1 in 2017 with "Reggaeton Lento", then followed it last year with "Hey DJ" at no.6, their third entry, "Pretend" enters this week at no.13.

Rudimental climb to no.16 and Lizzo returns to the top 20 with a new peak at no.19.

John Legend topped my chart in 2008 with "Green Light", this week "Preach" starts at no.23, his highest position as lead artist since "Under The Stars" made no.15 in 2015.

ROMANS previous 2 entries are both as featured artist with his appearance on Naughty Boy's "Home" making no.9 in 2014, this week he gets his first solo entry as "Be Fine" enters at no.27.

Jessie Ware gets her 15th entry with "Adore You" at no.30, she peaked with "Imagine It Was Us" which topped my chart in 2013. Czech Republic Eurovision entry from last year, Mikolas Josef gets his third hit with "Abu Dhabi" at no.32, "Black Heart" is a debut for Stealth at no.35, "Please Me" is a 7th hit for Cardi B and 16th for Bruno Mars at no.37, there's also a debut for Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande achieves a 17th entry, and third from latest album, which has so far had a no.1, a no.48 and a no.49.
