The latest release from Kylie - the new boxset Kylie: The Albums 2000-2010 - which includes all 5 of her latest studio albums (Light Years, Fever, Body Language, X, and Aphrodite).

    Released on 18 July, 2011

    I adore the cover:

Hope this can do well in the charts!

Will this count as a release in the charts?

I mean, it's the ordinary five Parlophone albums in cardboard sleeves, just in a special box.

Correct me if I'm wrong, though!

I would have thought that it would count in the charts, as it is an official release (not like a freebie in the newspaper ). I hope it counts towards the charts, because I don't want to wait three or so years until she next appears in the chart when her next studio album come out.

Well, sorry for posting off topic, but there are rumours about an 'acoustic greatest hits' and a jazz project (maybe they're combining the two?) coming soon!
If this is true, then we won't have to wait years until the next project!

That's the first I've heard about them, but I like the sound of them! Perhaps if they are just rumours at the moment, then they will probably be (if the rumours are true) released next year.

I'm not sure, I guess we'll have to wait a week to see if she appears on the chart with this boxset!

This should chart slightly higher than "Boombox", I think. P!nk and Alicia Keys' boxsets charted high when both "Funhouse" and "Element Of Freedom" were doing well on the charts.

I have my fingers crossed that this boxset can help the featured albums re-enter the charts, and that MusicWeek will give some Kylie totals during it's release!

Well, five top-selling albums for 12 pounds only is a huge bargain! I think it will sell well!

Assuming Kylie's record label have registered the album with Millward Brown / OCC and have a minimum dealer price of £6.00 then the box set will be eligible to chart on the main album chart in its own right though of course no sales will be combined with any of the individual albums.

I can't see any of the featured albums re-entering the charts if a boxset is available for such a low price. If anything it will kill off any remaining demand for the individual albums, at least while the boxset remains available to buy.

I also hope that this boxset could get a silver certification in the UK (60,000 copies shipped). Album sales are quite low at the moment, but I'm hoping it can achieve silver by the end of the year

Ha! Look at me getting all hyped up, and it could end up as a massive flop!

The boxset hasn't charted in Australia or Ireland! Has it charted any where?

#37 in the UK, such a drop from its midweek positions :( I can only see it having one more week in the Top 75

another useless release (i mean GH-ish like), but i agree for such price it's really bargain! Top 40 is quite a disappointment after Top 25 midweek :-?

They are in card sleeves with re-designed covers (the writings are deleted) with an alternative cover printed inside each card sleeve, all packaged in a pretty box that comes with a seperate booklet thingy that includes sleeve notes.
