Okay, I finished The Umbrella Academy and officially am hooked. Very much a slow burner but tied itself together really well in the end, I hope there's a second season.

My Mum rang me up the other day and told me to watch it, saying that it's like a darker Desperate Housewives.

I just can't get invested in Connie Britton as she normally just leaves any show after one season.

AHS is the only show where she was the main cast member where she left after first season.

I blame Ryan Murphy for lots of things and lots of shows going to crap.

Watched the first episode of MotherFatherSon, a show on BBC2 with Richard Gere and Helen McCrory, quite an interesting show.

I need to watch this! I'm fascinated with psychopathy and I like Connie Britton a lot even though I haven't seen her in a lot.

The Bay on ITV anyone? Good first episode, little bit like Broadchurch.

I enjoyed Happy! a lot and I was so glad to see there will be another season. The pacing of the show was so relentless and it went through so much story some other shows would take seasons to do. It was fun to see that despite the premise being crazy, they just went crazier and crazier with each episode. I have no idea what to expect from S2.

I started watching Suits, but stopped after episode three or so because I found it boring. I need another big series (five-plus seasons) to get into.

First episode was just aired and it was good. It's just 5 episodes so i'm gonna finish it. Wish they've included some Russian actors in the cast though.

Dirty John = Fantastic Show! Great Performances.

The Bay on ITV anyone? Good first episode, little bit like Broadchurch.

How is the above? I extrapolated it; [forgot to do a quote-post]
Broadchurch, that is? I'm just catching up on Brit. shows I've missed:
Luther (Please, no spoils!!) This one has me on the edge of my seat & elicits at least 1 gasp per episode =
the mark of a great suspense/thriller for me! Have to watch a comedy or talk show, after to unclench my entire body!
Another I just got a DVD set of the 1st season is Life on Mars (UK) version. Finding the UK versions (if there are both UK & US) much grittier...and gripping!
    Any replies: Thanks!

Recently watched all episodes of The Bay in one sitting. Really enjoyed it though felt the early inclusion of the 'game' (I'm not sure what it's called - where the brother was stealing etc.) was pretty pointless.

Otherwise, just been rewatching/ binging on real belly laugh comedy series from childhood.

My best friend is having her first baby soon - we grew up watching Gimme Gimme Gimme together and have been rewatching it recently. We joke that this is how I'll end up if ever I'm on babysitting duties

Great comedy. Also been watching alot of Royle Family. Caroline Aherne's genius comes out more and more each time. Truly a comedy genius, there'll never be anything like it again.
'The thing is, I think that sometimes people think that people who write pop songs are politicians or something. It's just a dumb pop song. Don't think too much into it.' - Lily Allen.
