This wasn't the monster her previous records were, most notably The Bodyguard soundtrack, but Whitney displays an unbelievable honesty and the soundtrack is a great mix of gospel (incredibily inspiring) and heartful love songs.

"I Believe in You and Me"
    "Step by Step"
    "Joy"
"Hold On, Help Is on the Way"
    "I Go to the Rock"
    "I Love the Lord"
"Somebody Bigger Than You and I"
    "You Were Loved"
    "My Heart Is Calling"
"I Believe in You and Me – Single Version"
    "Step by Step – Remix"
    "Who Would Imagine a King"
    "He's All Over Me"
    "The Lord Is My Shepherd"
    "Joy to the World"
The album has sold an estimated 6 million copies worldwide and is the best-selling gospel album of all time.

What are your favourites tracks from the album? Do you think this was Whitney at her artistic peak?

This is her best album.... It's what she was best at doing.

I love her mid 90s voice so much!

"Step by Step" is amazing! Even though she didn't do studio albums for seven long years, she was all out in these brilliant soundtrack albums, they all felt like studio album eras!

"I Go to the Rock" is probably my favourite from this soundtrack. It's so underrated! :(
I was ambitious, though I didn’t know exactly what I was shooting for. Now I think it’s one of the most useless questions an adult can ask a child – What do you want to be when you grow up? As if growing up is finite. As if at some point you become something and that’s the end.

I know slaying a cover is in her DNA but honestly I Believe In You & Me is ten times better than the original

^ Yes, definitely. I think all songs she covered here are the best renditions of them ever.

Gosh, still love this! Shame her holiday album 7 years later couldn't match this!
