didn't pass the three month trial period. Not that i did anything wrong, it was always billed as a temp job.

4 6 Little Mix - Nothing Else Matters (8 weeks; PEAK)

    TONY'S ALBUM CHART 5th JANUARY 2018

1 5 The Birthday Massacre - Under Your Spell
(24 weeks; peak #1) 12 WEEKS TOP IN TOTAL!

9 NE Unlocking The Truth - Chaos SPOTIFY
2016 album by black teen metal band that built up YT support since they were little kids, i had been following them on Twitter but didn't know they'd released anything till a doc about them was on TV. They had a 5-album Sony deal but extricated themselves from it. Album itself is too generic.

10 7 Against The Current - In Our Bones (33 weeks; peak #1)

    Love the ''probably'' bit
    13 NE A Perfect Circle - Disillusioned
It's decent but I haven't really connected with it so far.

    TONY'S HITS CHART 12th JANUARY 2018

1 14 Field Music - Count It Up
AUDIO STREAM VIDEO (2 weeks; PEAK)

Like Talking Heads if they crossed with Devo.

2 NE Courtney Act - Kaleidoscope VIDEO
Great pop song - not unlike Katy Perry when she still knew what a melody was. Aus drag act currently on UK's Celebrity Big Brother and formerly of RuPaul's Drag Race.

3 NE Simple Minds - The Signal and The Noise AUDIO STREAM VIDEO
    Much better than single Magic.

    4 1 Post Precious - Timebomb (11 weeks; peak #1)
5 5 Behind The Shadow Drops - Positive Shadow, Negative Light (2 weeks; peak #5)
    6 2 Bjork - Arisen My Senses (4 weeks; peak #2)
    7 3 Jonathan Wilson - Over The Midnight (4 weeks; peak #3)
    8 4 Little Mix - Nothing Else Matters (9 weeks; peak #4)
9 NE Hercules and Love Affair feat. Gustaph - My Curse and Cure AUDIO STREAM VIDEO
Playlisted by 6 Music - shame they ignored...

Yet another video in quick succession!

    13 8 Blanche - City Lights (16 weeks; peak #1)
14 NE Jake Shears - Creep City AUDIO STREAM VIDEO
Out since October but has had zero media attention despite Scissor Sister status. Only found out through his connection to Courtney Act - see albums.

    15 7 Lamb - Illumina (12 weeks; peak #1)

    ---------------------------------------------------------

    TONY'S ALBUM CHART 12th JANUARY 2018

4 NE Mono - Requiem For Hell SPOTIFY
5 NE Imogen Heap - I Megaphone / iMegaphone SPOTIFY
Her 1998 debut. I think it's the first time i've heard it in full. Not sure of the actual title as both seem to be used (I Megaphone on CD, iMegaphone as reference in later years).

    6 4 Blondie - Pollinator (15 weeks; peak #1)
    7 6 Jessie Ware - Glasshouse (12 weeks; peak #1)

1 14 Field Music - Count It Up
I like the song, but to me it sounded a bit demo-ish (drums), even by my own standards.

    11 NE Charlotte Gainsbourg - I'm A Lie
Charlotte really invested a lot in her new era.

12 NE LPX - Bolt In The Blue
I forgot about LPX since ''Tightrope'' but this one is really good, I have to admit.

14 NE Jake Shears - Creep City
Most definitely I have seen a thread here on UKMix somewhere. Decent, not sensational though.

    TONY'S HITS CHART 19th JANUARY 2018

1 NE Tonight Alive - Temple
    VIDEO

Out since October - i've not been overly convinced by them till this album... It beggars belief that groups like this and Against The Current get zero UK playlist action (outside of Kerrang! and Planet Rock), especially as they have proven fanbases. There's not just Paramore!

2 3 Simple Minds - The Signal and The Noise AUDIO STREAM VIDEO (2 weeks; PEAK)
Best thing they've done since the early days of Theme For Great Cities and Love Song. Dark, muscular synth rock. Editors and U2 can only dream.

3 NE Me Not You - Julia AUDIO STREAM VIDEO
American duo born from the ashes of Little Daylight (a darker brand of synth here). I charted Bulletproof and here's the belated entry (because they only just put it on YT) for the second single.

4 1 Field Music - Count It Up AUDIO STREAM VIDEO (3 weeks; peak #1)
    5 2 Courtney Act - Kaleidoscope VIDEO (2 weeks; peak #2)
6 NE Post Precious - Sign Of The Times AUDIO STREAM VIDEO
Harry Styles cover - more emphasis on their synth arrangement than the big melody. 16 places superior (in a 15 position January lull).

7 NE Tonight Alive with Lynn Gunn - Disappear VIDEO
    Current single with Pvris singer.

    8 4 Post Precious - Timebomb (12 weeks; peak #1)
9 5 Behind The Shadow Drops - Positive Shadow, Negative Light (3 weeks; peak #5)
    10 6 Bjork - Arisen My Senses (5 weeks; peak #2)
11 NE Me Not You - Everafter LYRIC VIDEO (language)
    Current single.

    12 7 Jonathan Wilson - Over The Midnight (5 weeks; peak #3)
    13 8 Little Mix - Nothing Else Matters (10 weeks; peak #4)
    14 11 Charlotte Gainsbourg - I'm A Lie (2 weeks; peak #11)
15 9 Hercules and Love Affair feat. Gustaph - My Curse and Cure (2 weeks; peak #9)

    --------------------------------------------------

    TONY'S ALBUM CHART 19th JANUARY 2018

1 NE Tonight Alive - Underworld
    SPOTIFY
Don't mistake this for an album by 2 British dance men! First half is best.

2 NE Me Not You - Reckoning 1 (MA) SPOTIFY
3 1 The Birthday Massacre - Under Your Spell (26 weeks; peak #1)
    4 2 Bjork - Utopia (8 weeks; peak #1)
    5 3 Charli XCX - Pop 2 (mixtape) (5 weeks; peak #2)
6 NE LPX - Bolt In The Blue (MA) SPOTIFY
    7 6 Blondie - Pollinator (16 weeks; peak #1)
    8 7 Jessie Ware - Glasshouse (13 weeks; peak #1)
    9 8 Taylor Swift - Reputation (10 weeks; peak #1)
10 NE James Rhodes - Fire On All Sides SPOTIFY
11 NE Joe Satriani - What Happens Next SPOTIFY
    12 4 Mono - Requiem For Hell (2 weeks; peak #4)
13 NE Leaves' Eyes - Sign Of The Dragonhead SPOTIFY
14 NE Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Wrong Creatures SPOTIFY
^^ 2 groups long past their best. Leaves' Eyes are only half the same group with Liv Kristine and others gone.

    15 12 Charli XCX - Number 1 Angel (mixtape) (15 weeks; peak #1)

I like Anavae more than Tonight Alive , but the song is still alright (their newest single ''Disappear'' song got to #18 in my chart a week ago, not much but anyway)

11 NE Me Not You - Everafter
    Interesting song.

Just realised: both my 2 top acts are Australian! I forgot about Tonight Alive being from there!

Some comments on Simple Minds and Courtney Act'd be nice - not just from Hep. :-?

I agree with what you've written about Simple Minds, they've briefly charted in my personal countdown.
Courtney Act doesn't hit me this time and I won't dwell on that too much.

Spam city here! I'm catching up now on both groups' videos and Anavae are winning hands down. One of their songs i saw on your chart and almost liked. It's a hair's breadth on a lot of these things and sometimes you have to go with your gut and listen again.
Their singer is in a different league to their music. She's the hook. Unike ATC and TA, Anavae seem to have barely a fanbase (not on sales charts though their Bandcamp and YouTube situations are unique) or any media attention - it's a wonder they have a Wikipedia page (though it hasn't been "cleaned up" since the 2015 notice).

Checking on both groups' past albums, EPs, singles later...

    TONY'S HITS CHART 2nd FEBRUARY 2018

    1 1 Tonight Alive - Temple
VIDEO (3 weeks; peak #1) 3 WEEKS TOP!
2 13 Tonight Alive - Human Interaction VIDEO (2 weeks; PEAK)

Human Interaction (from 2015) could be an intense pop/rock ballad by Pink if she had better taste. Radio ignoring it is baffling.

3 2 Simple Minds - The Signal and The Noise AUDIO STREAM VIDEO (4 weeks; peak #2)
4 5 Anavae - All Or Nothing VIDEO (2 weeks; PEAK)
I didn't mention the electronic textures here - Chvrches and Evanescence fans might appreciate.

13 NE Andrew WK - Music Is Worth Living For
It's not as instant as ''Party Hard'', though
    20 NE Yelle - Raconte-toi
    Cute.

I have a question for you. Do you (by any chance) like Marmozets, because I've searched through your chart and they never made it (they are a bit like The Joy Formidable)?
