    @ Mainshow
No, not really, more things like Unheilig and ASP...

    Ah ok

So glad you like "Victim Of Ritual". After you didn't like "Never Enough" i'm happy to see you like the first official single much more now!

Agreed, "Same Love" has some amazing lyrics. The song itself is good as well, but i think it's one of those songs that are much more amazing due to the lyrics. Me too! That don't happens that much.

Hehe i knew you would like the return of "Into The Sun" ;)

Currently it looks like it won't leave the charts... but it will close...

    @ PosziMC2:

@ Marc: Glad to see you like so many songs here! Especially Empire Of The Sun! I didn't know you like them!

So now it's time to finally launch the new certifications! While i always gave some Gold and Platinum certifications, i stopped to do it after i started the Top40/Top20. But now i want to try to certify songs and albums again. First of all, it's time to certify some charting singles. I use the system with 250 points for Gold and 500 points for Platinum. It won't be that easy to reach a certification with this but getting a cert should be a 'big thing'. Huge thanks to Mainshow for suggesting these guidelines

    2x PLATINUM

    Kerli - Walking On Air

    PLATINUM

Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding - I Need Your Love
    Demi Lovato - Heart Attack
    Lindsey Stirling - Crystallize

    GOLD

Ariana Grande feat. Mac Miller - The Way
    Ellie Goulding - Lights
Emmelie De Forest - Only Teardrops
Loreen - We Got The Power
Margaret Berger - I Feed You My Love
P!nk feat. Nate Ruess - Just Give Me A Reason
Selena Gomez - Come & Get It
    Tarja - Into The Sun

More singles will be certified later next week.
The guidelines and new certifications for albums will be revealed at the beginning of next week.

"Counting Stars" is having great longevity in the upper area of your Charts. I've heard it quite a few times on the Radio already, and it's really good!
Glad to see "Can't Hold Us" getting a new Peak Position this week and "same Love" debuting!
And the day came when the risk it took to remain tightly closed in a bud was more painfully than the risk it took to bloom

Yes, yes, yes, I love to get to know that you're usin' the same cert system like I do. Now, I can compare your chart to mine even more ;) And songs can get still get certs and I totally agree that it should be a big deal to get certified. Otherwise, eache song which has spent 6 weeks on a chart can get one ;)

Love all certs, even that song by the p!nk lesbian ;)

    @ luckyONE
Glad you like "Counting Stars"! Yes, it's having amazing longevity so far and due to a lot of airplay here i think it will be pretty high for a few weeks. Nice to see you like these two singles by Macklemore... and both could rise even more this week!

    @ Mainshow
Well, i thought your point system is the best so i have to thank you for your suggestion. It will be nice to see our YEC But i doubt a song will be as successful as "Euphoria" on your charts

Glad you like all certs so far and 'lol' at P!nk

week 30/2013 MIDWEEK CHARTS current Top5

It's likely to see Tarja scoring another week on top with her "Victim Of Ritual". The places 2-4 are pretty tight at the moment so a change there - or maybe even on top - could be likely too. Meanwhile, Ariana Grande just released "Baby I" today, the follow-up to her #1 single "The Way" which was just certified with Gold yesterday. With three more days until the new charts, she should score the highest debut this week.

    week 30/2013 – 25 july 2013 Selegend is back

    • Singles Top40

It was a busy week... six songs are making their debut this week. That’s the most since the week after Eurovision, when seven songs made a debut. As expected, the highest debut comes from Ariana Grande. The nickelodeon star already got a huge hit this year with “The Way”, which debuted at number one earlier this year (and falls 30-37 this week in its 17th week on the charts). Now she released the follow-up single called “Baby, I”, which debuts at #7.

So despite having a lot of new entries this week, there wasn’t a big competition for the number one spot and Tarja scores a second week on top with “Victim Of Ritual”. It’s the third song this year that debuts on top and remains there for a second week after “Dark Paradise” by Lana Del Rey and “Come & Get It” by Selena Gomez plus it’s already the 8th song of the year with more than one week on top. Ellie Goulding’s “Burn” remains stable as well at number two while “Slow Down” by Selena Gomez rises 4-3 due to the album release and rounds up the Top3 of this week.

The worldwide hit “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore is still rising and getting a new peak at number five this week. It’s by far his biggest hit. Selena Gomez released her solo-debut album “Stars Dance” last friday and the impact for the lead single is huge as “Come & Get It” rises 32-9.

Time to look at the new entries outside the Top10. While Blackmore’s Night scored a number one album with their seventh album “Dancer And The Moon” a few weeks ago, they never had an entry on the Singles Top40 so far. Finally, there are even two new entries by them as both singles “Dancer And The Moon” and “The Moon Is Shining (Somewhere Over The Sea)” arrives at #12 and #21. UK-newbie John Newman debuts at #25 with his solo-debut “Love Me Again”, a former UK-tophit. The last two entries are coming from US R&B star Ciara. While her new album debuts on the Album Charts, the singles “I’m Out” (feat. Nicki Minaj; #27) and “Body Party” (#34) are debuting on the Singles Charts.

With “Walking On Air” falling out of the charts, it’s the first week without a single by Kerli on the charts since the release of “Utopia” eighteen weeks ago.

The biggest climber this week is the already mentioned “Come & Get It” by Selena Gomez (32-9) while the biggest looser is “Girlfriend” by Icona Pop (25-36).

    • Album Top20

Quite unsurprisingly Selena Gomez’ solo-debut and fourth album overall called “Stars Dance” debuts on top this week. With this, Selena becomes the first act with more than three number one albums after “Kiss & Tell” (4 weeks), “A Year Without Rain” (7 weeks) and “When The Sun Goes Down” (10 weeks). The last one holds the record for most consecutive weeks on top with incredible ten weeks. It will be difficult for “Stars Dance” to top this as there are some big new releases in a few weeks (for example Ellie Goulding’s “Halcyon Days” and Tarja’s “Colours In The Dark”, both will be released in the second half of august).

“Stars Dance” already spawned two number one singles with “Come & Get It” and “Slow Down” as is just her second to do so after “A Year Without Rain”, which spawned the number one hits “Round & Round” and “A Year Without Rain”. Speaking about “A Year Without Rain”... the second album by Selena Gomez (with The Scene, of course) is making a comeback at #13.

While the two singles of “Dancer And The Moon” are debuting on the Singles Top40, the album by Blackmore’s Night is rising 3-2 – the highest position since it’s debut at number one six weeks ago. “Halcyon” by Ellie Goulding is rounding up the Top3 as it’s falling 1-3.

After an incredible run of eighteen weeks in the Top5, Kerli’s “Utopia” falls down to number six. The last album that spent its first eighteen weeks in the Top5 was “Halcyon” last autumn. Ciara’s self-named album “Ciara” comes in at number seven, it’s her first appearance on the album charts. One of the biggest musical surprises of the year is without any doubts US violinist Lindsey Stirling. Her debut album topped the Album Top10 for five weeks and now falls out of the Top10 for the first time in its 24th week on the charts.

There’s even a new entry outside the Top10 as Daft Punk’s “Random Access Memories” debuts at #15. So it also was a busy week on the album charts and not only on the single charts. Finally, another milestone for Charts Queen Lana Del Rey: Her album “Born To Die” spends its 70th week on the charts this week, falling 16-17.

    • Airplay Top10

While there was an Airplay Top10 full of Tarja songs last week, there’s an Airplay Top10 full of Selena songs this week. Due to the album release of “Stars Dance”, most album tracks and the two singles are in the Top10. Every song of the album (15 tracks) got at least 10 plays over the last week, and only two Non-Selena songs also got more than 10 plays. One of these two songs is the current #1 on the singles charts; Tarja with “Victim Of Ritual”. The single got 61 plays in its second week on the charts. While that’s 76 less than last week, it’s still enough to top the Airplay Charts again.

The other one of these two songs is “Burn” by Ellie Goulding, which falls 2-7 with 27 plays.

So, eight tracks are by Selena Gomez. The highest one is the current single “Slow Down”, which rises 3-2, followed by the title track of the album at number three. The lead single of the album, “Come & Get It”, re-enters the charts at number four. The following album tracks appear on the charts: “Nobody Does It Like You” (#5), “Birthday” (#6), “B.E.A.T.” (#8), “Like A Champion” (#9) and “Save The Day” (#10.

After the bad last week, plays of the Top10 went up by 74 to 366 (+25.3%) compared to last week.

You need to listen to "Heal" immediately! - You aren't allowed to make it leave the chart!!!

Flawless Top5 and I'm really happy to see Newman debuting! I personally think his song is quite refreshin' and somethin' different compared to the other stuff being successful on some countries' charts nowadays. Hopefully, his follow-up single will be flawless as well.

Amazing jump for "Come & Get It", the impact of the album <3

Wow, Selena Gomez is really the Queen of your chart! - I'm really impressed by "Love You Like A Love Song"'s chart-run. It's really insane, but I can totally understand your love for that song. It's my favourite by Selena as well and it will be HUGE on your retro chart as well. There were some days, when I listened to it more than just a couple of times ;)

It's amazing that each fully released single by Selena got certified. You need to let "Bang Bang Bang" enter your chart again, though. It's my favourite album track on "When The Sun Goes Down" and I would like to see it goin' Gold ;)

I quite like "Naturally"... It was well played on MTV Live HD. You're a huge Disney fan... what's your favorite Disney show?

    @ Mainshow

I did... i listened to the whole album on friday. Don't be afraid, it won't leave the charts next week! ;)

Glad you like the whole Top5 and i knew you would like the song by John Newman as it's also charting on your charts. Well, i think he sounds a little bit like James Arthur (and you didn't like him ) but yeah, can't wait to hear a few more songs by him. Actually it's starting to smash here in Switzerland...

Yeah, the album had a big impact and it's already pretty clear to see "Come & Get It" even higher next week!

Yes, "Love You Like A Love Song" was huge and had amazing longevity. It's not a huge smash but it's very addictive and doesn't get old.
"Bang Bang Bang" would need a few weeks to go Gold as it still needs a lot of points and i can't see this happen in the future. But, you never know, maybe someday i'll be obsessed with it again?

    @ taraella
Thanks for commenting and so glad to see that you like so many songs

    @ Haribo
    Glad you quite like it!

Well, i wouldn't say i'm a huge disney fan... i just like their music (and also some shows earlier).
hmm... favorite disney show... that's hard to choose... i didn't watch disney shows for a long time now but i think overall i would name The Wizards Of Waverly Place as one of my favorite ones (that's probably also why i love Selena ). Have you watched some disney shows?

I see. I never saw it. Yes, I used to watch it for hours before, but Disney shows quality have decreased a lot. My favorite is probably That's So Raven.

Good to see "Burn" that high. Such a good song.
And the day came when the risk it took to remain tightly closed in a bud was more painfully than the risk it took to bloom

    week 31/2013 – 1 august 2013 Happy 1st of August - Swiss National Day! ^.^

    • Singles Top40

After two consecutive weeks on top, “Victim Of Ritual” by Tarja falls down to number two this week and misses the chance to become the third song with more than two weeks on top of the year so far. Back on top is the current single by Selena Gomez called “Slow Down”. The song tops the charts for a fourth non-consecutive week. With eight weeks in the Top5 so far it’s on track to become one of her most successful singles ever. Rounding up the Top3 is “Dancer And The Moon”, the title track of the seventh album by Blackmore’s Night, which rises 12-3.

While “Come & Get It” was the biggest climber last week due to the album release, the leadsingle of Selena Gomez’ solo album rises even more this week and climbs back to the Top5 in its 17th week. It’s just the fifth week in the Top5 for the song. With six new entries there are a lot new songs on the charts this week again. The highest one enters the Top10. After the huge hit that was “Heart Attack”, “Made In The USA” was chosen as the second single of “Demi”, the fourth album by Demi Lovato and arrives at #9.

With “Red”, the title track of Taylor Swift’s current album, the US singer lands another entry at #12 this week. It’s already the sixth single of the album after “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” (#1), “Begin Again” (#11), “I Knew You Were Trouble.” (#1), “22” (#8) and the duo with Ed Sheeran called “Everything Has Changed” (#18). While Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” leaves the Top10 after four weeks (6-11), Empire Of The Sun’s “Alive” leaves them after five weeks (8-13). Also “Baby, I” by Ariana Grande already falls out of them to #14 after the debut at #7 last week.

The ESC winner single “Only Teardrops” by danish singer Emmelie De Forest falls 19-23 and leaves the Top20 for the first time after 13 weeks, but it’s expected to see a new single called “Hunter & Prey” soon. “Pompeii” by Bastille arrives at #26 while a similar song called “Safe And Sound” by Capital Cities comes in at #32. After “Just Give Me A Reason”, “True Love” was chosen to be the next single by P!nk and comes in at #31. It features UK singer Lily Allen who scored six Top5 hits in the years 2007-2010. Finally, the last new entry at #34 is the song “Firestarter” by australian X-Factor winner Samantha Jade. The last thing to mention is the dropout of the new single by Icona Pop. While the swedish duo has one of the biggest hits of the year so far (“I Love It”, #3 and spent 20 weeks in the charts), “Girlfriend” charted for only three weeks.

The biggest climber this week is the already mentioned “Dancer And The Moon” by Blackmore’s Night (12-3) while the biggest looser is “Wing$” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (28-40).

    • Album Top20

While there were a few new entries last week there’s no new entry this week. But there were at least three re-entries, all of them coming back outside the Top10. Not unexpected Selena remains at number one with “Stars Dance” for a second week. Blackmore’s Night’s “Dancer And The Moon” remains at number two while “The Heist” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis goes up 4-3 and rounds up the Top3 this week.

Ciara never had a hit on my charts so far so her debut at #7 last week already was pretty impressive for her. This week, the selfnamed album even increases a little bit as it’s rising 7-5. Due to the success of the current album, “A Year Without Rain” by Selena Gomez (& The Scene) rises 13-9 after the re-entry last week.

The first re-entry comes in at #14. It’s Demi Lovato’s fourth album “Demi” which benefits from the new single “Made In The USA” which is the highest new entry on the singles charts this week. A bit lower at #16 there’s the comeback of “On My Way” by TinkaBelle while at #19 “Native” by OneRepublic re-enters the charts.

    • Airplay Top10

This week we have an Airplay Top10 full of Selena Gomez and her songs of her current chart topping album “Stars Dance”. Both non-Selena songs of last week – “Victim Of Ritual” by Tarja and “Burn” by Ellie Goulding – haven’t got enough plays last week and fall out of the Top10.

But which song by Selena tops the charts? Well, it’s the title track of the album, “Stars Dance”, which got 72 plays over the last seven days. The second single “Slow Down” isn’t far away with 68 plays at number two. Rounding up the Top3 is the album opener “Birthday” with 44 plays.

Apart from the songs that charted last week there are two new entries. The track “Forget Forever” arrives at #8 with 34 plays while “Write Your Name” comes in at #10 with 30 plays.

Plays of the Top10 went up by 70 to 436 (+19.1%) compared to last week. These are the highest weekly plays ever this year.

Demi Lovato is one of those disney girls that started to sing after their job as actresses. But unlike some other girls, Demi actually has an amazing voice. While she released her debut album in early 2009, Demi made her first chart appearance in summer 2011 with her single "Skyscraper". The song was written by Kerli, whose my favorite artist as of right now and had several high charting singles and albums too, so that may helped Demi a lot on my charts. The song even made me buy the third album "Unbroken", which debuted inside the Top5 of the Album Charts and later peaked at #4 due to the success of the second single "Give Your Heart A Break".

After Demi's job as a judge on the US X-Factor, she finally released her fourth album called "Demi" earlier this year. The album quite easily outpeaked her previous one with debuting at number two and spawned two singles so far; "Heart Attack" - her first platinum single - and "Made In The USA".

YAY for "True Love" debuting this week! I hope it can peak a little big higher eventually.

Great longevity for "Counting Stars". I have never really been into OneRepublic that much, but their current hit singles really impress me.
And the day came when the risk it took to remain tightly closed in a bud was more painfully than the risk it took to bloom

    This week's best song!

Glad to see "Read All About It, Pt. III" certified three-times platinum! Many stuff I like got certified this week, to be honest!
