Ok, somehow I missed that "Solo" never made your charts... this late entry is really surprising! What's the reason for that? It was one of my most favorite songs from last year, so I'd say better late than never <3

Good to see "Here With Me" rising into the Top10 this week

Lately I've been obsessed with Alicija and she also performs pretty well (and she doesn't shit talk like almost every other girl).

This year it's really hard to predict who could become GNTM. Last year we had Toni, Julianna and Pia which all had a good portrayal (more or less), so out of the Top 10 those had the best chances to become GNTM (and funnily enough, they were the Top 3 eventually).
This year we don't really have that I must say...
Simone is a drama Queen, Sarah and Vanessa are arrogant girls, Lena will probably go next week, Caroline has been shown way too less, Caecilia seems to be a little bit dumb , it would be a joke to let Tatjana win the competition (from a model aspect, she has sooooo short legs) ...
Sayana or Alicija? But I have a feeling Alicija will be out before the final, the one's that always perform well and have a job or two are most likely 6th or 5th place because someone else got better than them in the last week so I really don't know who could become GERMANY'S NEXT TOP MODEL 2019.
I get what you're saying, but after this weeks episode I feel like they will move on from that now. Lena is out and Sarah and Simone got to talk with Heidi. Somehow I feel like that whole thing was made up by the producers and this week they wanted to show something so there's a reason why they won't bring that drama up again, when you know what I mean.

It's sad how Alicija also fades in the background. She's so sweet and delivers most of the time, yet she barely gets screen time. Caro finally got her story, so I hope Alicija is next as we still don't really know her.

Cäcilia being a little bit dumb is an interesting thought as I already read several similar comments on social media, but I think she's just the normal teenager. As for Tatjana, after this weeks episode I feel like she has to go soon. Judging from their deliveries, I personally think that Caro and Tatjana have to go next.

I guess you didn't read the spoilers?

I ignored it because of Demi Lovato. Last year I maybe heard it (a remix) once or twice in a club but didn't really care to check out the original version ... but in the last two weeks , I heard the song lots of times on the radio and kinda fell in love with it... and since it's part of the current 'What Is Love?' era, it still had the opportunity to debut on my charts and since it's not the first song to debut pretty late on my charts ("Only Love Can Hurt Like This" by Paloma Faith, originally released in May 2014 entered my charts in April 2015, "I Got You" by Bebe Rexha, originally released in October 2016 entered my charts in December 2018... )

There are only three episodes left before the grand live final show and they are still Top 8 (not that it was different last year but still...)
    so May 2 - Top 7, May 9 - Top 6 and May 16 semifinal, Top 5 / Top 4? May 23 - final
Alicija is so beautiful, my favorite in that case this year <3

I am so excited for the next episode, last year's drag episode was the highlight of the season. And it seems like they got Nebraska Thunderfuck as she comments a lot on Caro's instagram account

I haven't really read any spoilers, don't really know where to read them

As for next cycle, I am up for opening a thread in the TV section of this forum. Even if it might only be us 2 to comment there ;)

Oh, I had no idea that you dislike Demi that much! Is there a reason for that?
Yes, I remember there were a few 'late' debuts but you know, better late than never - especially with amazing songs like these!

Love to hear that you enjoyed last years Drag episode, as I'm a huge fan of RuPaul's Drag Race so I always know the Drag Queens who appear. Unfortunately, last years Drag episode was already the only episode that I missed due to other things going on and this year I missed it again (though I saw Anne-Marie live at that evening, so that's a good excuse I guess ). Yeah, Nebraska is also commenting on some other instagram accounts, I already wondered why...

So Tatjana left. Love her as a person, but it was the right decision. So the remaining contestants are actually quite good. I still hope Sarah will make it through the next round as I definitely prefer her over Caro who seems lovely but doesn't have much 'model' quality, especially compared to Sarah IMO.

Yes please! I already thought about opening a topic for three years now What about a general topic to discuss all future cycles?

    ...

Woah, huge debut for Taylor this week, but considering your huge love for her that's probably not the biggest surprise. Unfortunately, I think the song is quite underwhelming, especially compared to most of her past singles. It's a nice pop song, but that's it for me

Love to see "Solo" rising a lot this week, also great debut for Kygo & Rita Ora's "Carry On".
My highlight of the week has to be the debut for Marina's album though. Great return for her!

I just don't care for her music and I'm not a person that checks out new music that much... so I didn't really care for that collab, hence I didn't listen to it.
But I am glad I did listen eventually

This years drag episode was a letdown IMO. I can't tell you why exactly but last year's episode was superior.
But that Work B**** performance was on fire. Well, actually Simone was on fire.

I really grew to like her as a person , but I won't follow her social media now that she is out (or when GNTM cycle 14 has ended).
I really prefer Caro, but we don't know her that much so far and the season's almost over already
Oh, and she's the only one that didn't get one single job so far by the way! Her time's up very soon, I'd say.

I'll be opening a GNTM thread in that other subforum soon So we can discuss past and future cycles!

I absolutely love "ME!", it works for me. Not her best lead single though (that's "SHAKE IT OFF" for me, still).

Unfortunately, I lost interest in Marina and the album's disappointing me, too. She only got a rather high debut due to having a succesful career on my charts so far (3 #1 albums actually!)

    • I noticed you showing "ME!" a lot of love over in Soundclash and Akini's "Your Billboard Top 10" game, so I thought I'd check out how it's doing here - and this is exactly what I hoped to see! People have been pretty harsh on it, but I think it's a genuinely uplifting piece of ear candy <3 Sounds like it's your second-favorite lead single of hers, behind SIO? Is your name inspired by the Red track?
    • Speaking of that "Your Billboard Top 10" game, I checked out Khalid's "Talk" in order to vote there, but I haven't heard the Disclosure version yet. I've been loving his "Better" a lot lately too.
    • Awesome that "Zero" reached No. 1 here! It kind of flew under the radar/got over-shadowed by their other singles as far as the public was concerned, but I much prefer it to some of their recent big hits like "Believer" and "Natural."
    • I was shocked when "No One" got announced as the 4th Always In Between single. It's one of my least-favorites of the choices left on the album, and "Rollin" seemed like such an obvious candidate (or "Never Let Me Go," or "Nevermind," or "Won't Say No"...)

That's a chart that definitely works for me, luckyONE!

I'm absolutely obsessed with "ME!" at the moment! it's a catchy track and it sounds like the typical Taylor Swift lead single (very similiar to the lead singles from "RED" & "1989" IMO!). Loving it!
But no, I think it's hard to rank her lead singles. "Shake It Off" is my #1, but at the moment, I don't know how the rank the others. Really love them all!
My username is inspired by Lana Del Rey's track "Lucky Ones" from her debut album.

I would have chosen "Never Let Me Go" or "1 2 3" as the (final) single from Jess' latest album. "No One" is her worst single so far IMO (and the first solo single by her to miss the Top 10 on my charts!).

The WANEGBT vibes in "ME!" definitely crossed my mind too, and I feel you with struggling to rank all of her lead singles! "Tim McGraw" is the least-suited to my personal tastes, and even that one is still pretty tender/moving.

Ouch Understandable, though! What are Jess's biggest solo hits here?

    • No complaints about "ME!"s ongoing domination.
    • "Medellín" continues to hold quite steady too. Any chance of the other Madame X singles/preview tracks appearing?
    • Nice to see Kelly make a dent with "Broken & Beautiful." I wasn't too crazy about the handful of UglyDolls tracks that I checked out, but "Broken & Beautiful" stood out the most.

Yet another chart that does the trick for me, lucky!

Actually, "Tim McGraw" is one of my favorites... IDK, it just touches me my least favorite must be "Love Story" although that one is pretty fantastic, too. But I prefer the 1989 era live version of that song.

The biggest solo hits for Jess Glynne are "Don't Be So Hard On Yourself" (8x Platinum), "Hold My Hand" (7x Platinum) and "I'll Be There" (5x Platinum). She has 4 songs in the Decade To Date charts Top 50 at this point!

"Love Story" is probably my favorite of her leads, but nostalgia deserves a fair amount of credit for that (being in college at the time with friends who were also into Taylor, watching her score huge crossover hits on the Hot 100 and even achieve some success overseas for the first time).

Woah, Jess's had some serious smashes! Is "Rather Be" her 4th appearance on the Decade to Date Top 50?

    • Lovin' that "ME!" is still standing tall! It fell short on a lot of the personal (and official) charts I follow, so its fantastic performance here has been really refreshing and heartwarming.
    • Nice to see "Only Want You" crack the Top 10! Although I preferred some of the other options left on Phoenix (especially "Falling To Pieces"), I'm surprised OWY bombed so hard in the UK, despite getting a new "remix" and a proper video.
    • Speaking of the UK chart, "Sixteen" is perfectly aligned with its new UK peak here! **Fingers crossed** it keeps climbing on both.
    • I haven't heard of Milow before, but "Help" is pretty lovely on first listen.

Yet another chart that lifts me up, lucky!

No, that'd be 'Real Love'. Never really got into 'Rather Be'. It 'only' peaked at #8 and is 'only' certified 1x Platinum. I began to enjoy her with 'Real Love' actually.

Ellie performed on Germany's Next Top Model last week and I kinda fell in love with 'Sixteen'. Actually, it's the first song of hers that I really like since 'Still Falling For You'. But she's one of the most succesful artist this decade on my charts, she's a hot candidate for a Top 5 position on my artists decade end charts, actually! https://www.ukmix.org/showthread.php...ts-(2010-2019)

And Milow's a Belgian singer who's had a nice success in Germany since debuting. I dig a few songs by him.

Ah, I'm actually not familiar with "Real Love" ("Rather Be" is the only New Eyes track I had in my library) but I've added it now!

Makes sense. A lot of fans seemed really off-put by "Close To Me" (I thought the vitriol was a tad extreme, but it's definitely not one of her all-time-best), while the public had zero interest in "Flux" (which was a tad too plodding for me too). Does that mean "Hollow Crown" has also been a miss for you?

    • "ME!" is unstoppable Might it become one of her all-time-biggest hits here?
    • Fabulous jump for "Sixteen" thanks to that GNTM effect!
    • "If I Can't Have You" is cute n catchy, but not quite enough to stand out for me lately, when several other artists I typically enjoy are dropping stuff that really grabs my ear (Taylor, Madonna, Charli, Carly, Ed, etc). A lot of Shawn's big hits do feel pretty samey: "Stitches," "Treat You Better," "There's Nothing...," and now this too.

    Yet another awesoME chart, lucky!

You can search the entire universe and not find a single being more worthy of love than you.

Does that mean "Hollow Crown" has also been a miss for you?
I didn't even know "Hollow Crown" exists actually. Ellie had one smash era (Halcyon Days) on my charts, Delirium did OK but she is far from being as succesful as she was in 2013/2014.

    • "ME!" is unstoppable Might it become one of her all-time-biggest hits here?
I didn't really think it could get competition in the next few weeks, but now that Little Mix are releasing new music this Friday, it might not stay too long at #1 here

With not slowing down anytime soon, Ariana Grande has great chances to become the #1 artist of 2019 on my charts.

    • Now "ME!" hits lucky seven on a lucky chart! What's Taylor's longest-running No. 1 ever here? Very curious to see if she'll manage to replace herself with "You Need To Calm Down" in the near future...or will Little Mix get in her way? Suspense!
    • LOVIN' that Top 2 debut for Queen Carly What drove such a splashy entry now? The album's been out for about a month, and the (delightful) video dropped back in March.
    • Speaking of lucky #7, "Sixteen" achieves the rare 7-7-7-7 this week.
    • Glad that "One Touch" and "Bad Guy" have made a dent now too.

    Yet another supreME chart, lucky!

actually, it's "look what you made ME! do", it topped the charts for 10 weeks.
'Bad Blood' was a #1 hit for 9 weeks, it comes close!
But maybe the #1 reign for 'ME!' has come to an end this week

Well, what can I say... Me being in love made 'Now That I Found You' debuting so high this week! Also the album climbed as I bought it because of the song.

OoOh, it's awesome that LWYMMD was that massive on your chart! I feel like even big fans of hers often dismiss that one, but I was re-visiting it when "ME!" dropped, and it's held up REALLY well for me. I thought the Vertigo-inspired lyric video was brilliantly done too (I've watched it way more than that song's official video).

    • I should've realized that your avatar change was a big hint for this development! I wasn't feeling "Bounce Back" at all at first, but it started to click with me over the past few days. I'll probably end up enjoying it more than "Woman Like Me," at least. How many No. 1's does this make for LM?
    • Nice new Top 10 peak for "Don't Worry Bout Me." "Wow" was a pretty big disappointment, but Zara's won me right back with "All The Time."
    • Thrilled to see "Never Really Over" debut (and hopefully No. 27 is just the start of great things to come for it here).

Yet another chart that has me bouncing off the walls, lucky!
